Is Yellowstone’s Baffling Earthquake Swarm (250+) A Sign: Volcanoes Are Heating UP?

In Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Natural Disasters, Volcanoes, Wildfires, mudslides on December 30, 2008 at 12:38 pm

I always scratch my head and muse for a minute or two when I see something so plain and palpable and, yet, learned scientists do not know why and are baffled. Some might say that this is because I–or any other like me–rush to judgment without the extrinsic evidence to support our conclusions. I am not making any judgments here about this matter. I simply ‘expect’ the Yellowstone Hotspot to light off before this system is over with. That is something I have come to believe is what “squares” with all factors, including the scriptures.

First the facts. Reports are coming in of 250 small earthquakes in Yellowstone and these small temblors are baffling to scientists–formally known as “seismologists” and “geophysicists” in official parlance. The ones they better start talking to are the “volcanologists” because I got a suspicion and it meets with what has long been expected in precisely this same location. Let’s flush this out a bit and then turn to the potential ramifications, both on the good side and the bad.

AP Writer Mead Gruver wrote, quoting Professor Robert Smith, of the University of Utah, saying …(story link provided above)

“They’re certainly not normal,” Smith said. “We haven’t had earthquakes in this energy or extent in many years.”

“… the quakes have ranged in strength from barely detectable to one of magnitude 3.8 that happened Saturday. A magnitude 4 quake is capable of producing moderate damage.”

“This is an active volcanic and tectonic area, and these are the kinds of things we have to pay attention to,” Smith said. ”We might be seeing something precursory.”

“Could it develop into a bigger fault or something related to hydrothermal activity? We don’t know. That’s what we’re there to do, to monitor it for public safety.”

Yellowstone is simply a large volcanic caldera. It is a magnificent place of almost haunting beauty. I stayed nearby there the entire Summer of 1981, (about 20 miles away) near Signal Mountain and Lake Jackson. I will never forget that Summer. We rented horses and because I was a horse owner we were able to take them out alone all day, throughout the Teton Wilderness.

Steve Conner, Science Editor of the UK’s Independent wrote it this way, at Rense.com, “Yellowstone’s Slumbering Giant.”

“When the supervolcano that lies beneath Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming finally awakes from its 640,000-year slumber, it will spew out enough ash and magma to change the world as we know it. This is the prediction of scientists who have calculated that the global risk posed by a supervolcanic eruption somewhere in the world is between five and ten times greater than the probability of being struck by a giant asteroid.”

As I recalled these facts to mind I got up for a fresh cup of Chock-full ‘O nuts, and those who know me know that when I do that it is because I got a feeling about something fairly dramatic. I do that when I think of a guy in Latin America with a Tupolev super bomber and a few smuggled nukes and only a few minutes to the United States borders, as previously proven in the Arctic, possibly below early warning parameters. It makes my spine crawl a bit. I love that New York coffee when I get that feeling. The so-called “Yellowstone Hotspot” is a nightmare in the making and anyone ought to be a continent away if this thing lights off. As it is my brother is near ground zero. He may as well be sitting on a bonfire.

The academic reality is that volcanoes are classified but perhaps inaccurately and the true risks may very well be completely different from what we are being told. (See, for example, Alexandru Szakács, “Redefining Active Volcanoes: A Discussion,” Bulletin of Volcanalogy, Volume 56, Number 5 / November, 1994,0258-8900 (Print) 1432-0819 (Online)) I pay close attention to these things because I, too, live in a volcano field. A very large one, with a stratovolcano as its banner peak.

Jake Lowenstern thinks it “possible but unlikely” that the Yellowstone Hotspot will erupt big time. He thinks it is more likely going to have “smaller eruptions.” (See: GeoTimes, Jake Lowenstern, “Truth, Fiction, And Everything In Between In Yellowstone.” )

Seismologists and Volcanologists are going to watch this thing very closely, as the earthquake swarm under Yellowstone Lake persists, hopefully asking and answering how this may be giving advance warning to get people out of the way of a potentially enormous disaster.  In banal terms the USGS Volcano Hazards Program 12/29/2008 5:00 P.M. Press Release states in pertinent part:

“The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports that a notable swarm of earthquakes has been underway since December 26 beneath Yellowstone Lake in Yellowstone National Park, three to six miles south-southeast of Fishing Bridge, Wyoming. This energetic sequence of events was most intense on December 27, when the largest number of events of magnitude 3 and larger occurred.”

The current risks, while completely devoid of any question or answer from a scripturally prophetic prospective, are that an eruption, aside from local or regional infrastructure damage, could result in continent-wide impacts. ( See: Christiansen, R.L., Lowenstern, J.B., Smith, R.B. et al, USGS Open file Report, “Preliminary Assessment Of Volcanic Hazards In Yellowstone National Park & Vicinity,” April 3, 2007, Version 1.1. )

Safety. “Could” helps if it “does” and people say, “you failed to warn.” The reality is this: They simply do not yet know how to predict volcanic eruptions. Sometimes they erupt after earthquakes (Mt. St. Helens) and often times they do not.

Yet sincere students of the scriptures have long asked if Jehovah would restore the cloud canopy over the earth as part of his restoring earth back to paradise, as long promised and for those who love Him know, which will absolutely transpire, right on time. There is an array of scriptures that leads one to seriously ask if this is in store. I will collect them into a small compendium and make them available to my readers upon demand in a Word document.

Pay close attention to Yellowstone. If you know anyone in the area urge them to think: “Safe”. My concern is related to my ongoing hypothesis–that Natural Disaster is one important prong of a series of things which will, in the aggregate–”crush,”– within the meaning of Daniel 2:44, because governments will be called upon by a frightened and injured mass of people and will prove increasingly unable or ill-equipped to respond meaningfully and/or on time. This, in turn, leads to a growing loss of confidence in governments such that people, in growing waves, likely will resort to various and sundry forms of self help. This is rooted in anarchy. Some will act out rage and become belligerent with government officials and actors and agencies. We know the prophecies about the Great Tribulation and they are both real and imminent in terms of their fulfillment. Something has to drive the engine downward. Natural disasters are nothing more than a fuller extension or expression of this important saying about our now reigning King, Jesus Christ:

(Mark 4:41)  ”But they felt an unusual fear, and they would say to one another: “Who really is this, because even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Everything and everyone else that (or whom) will survive does as well.

In the final analysis I suspect that the Earthquake Swarm underneath Yellowstone Lake is the seismological equivalent of what will ultimately prove to be a pilot light that perhaps just got lit. You have to hold it for a spell in those older gas heaters, ultimately turning the knob and letting it out, releasing the gas and–that sound of warmth and success–whoooooooop!

Makes one wonder … May Jehovah’s Holy Name become magnified throughout the earth, for great indeed are His Works. The earthquake swam is plainly His Work. Somehow. Someway. It baffled the world’s best seismologists. I am smiling so broadly I am wondering if my face might crack. I love Yellowstone.

Imagine what it will be after …

One has to admit, nonetheless, that as we discussed things like “fiery furnace” and “fiery jealousy,” in next door’s post, this is an amazing coincidence for ambiance, if nothing else. ~

Mumbai Terrorists: Angels Of Death?

In Crime & Punishment, Failure of Governmental Regulation, Great Tribulation, Hate Crime, India, Lashkar-i-Taiba, Pakistan, Prophecies, Religion & Politics, Riots, Scripture, Terrorism, World Condition, economic crisis, financial crisis on December 30, 2008 at 11:05 am

One of the enormously talented photographers who followed the Mumbai terrorists with lenses and even an electronic flash described the attackers as “they never ran, just walked,” and “they were very accurate and didn’t waste any bullets;”  These quotes are attributed to photographer Sebastian D’souza, of the Mumbai Mirror newspaper, by Thomas Fuller, NY Times, “Photographers Recorded Mumbai Rampage In Stark Detail.”

His eyewitness account in fascinating but disturbing, as he moved as a surrealistic shadow, while 10 gunmen with modern assault rifles, grenades, and so forth, slaughtered some and left others to live. What is the distinction? In a deeply penetrating portion of Mr. Fuller’s story, cited above, he writes:

“In the train terminal, Mr. D’souza captured some of the surreal aspects of the attacks. He recounted that despite the nearly constant sound of approaching gunfire, a shopkeeper at a small bookshop spent minutes trying to close his metal shutter instead of just running away. The attackers shot the merchant; one of Mr. D’souza’s pictures shows the man slumped, dying, in front of his shop.”

“Mr. D’souza also tells of a woman in a sari who walked nonchalantly in front of the attackers, but was spared. “They didn’t even look at her,” Mr. D’souza said.”

“A man, possibly homeless, Mr. D’souza guesses, watched the attacks with his arms folded as if he were admiring a street performance.”

“It is still not clear why the attackers let some people live while others were killed on the spot.”

“They were like angels of death,” Mr. D’souza said. “When they hit someone they didn’t even look back. They were so sure.”

Like angels of death. Selective executions. A shop owner, merchant, no doubt linked to the elitists and the wealthy, and interestingly the man killed in front of that shop of his acted like his money, his things, were worth more than even his own life. Makes you wonder if the men knew this man, if one of them had visited his store in the weeks or months prior to the attacks? Yet, a homeless man, perhaps seen as part of those who are oppressed, sat untouched, watching this drama unfold right before his very eyes. In between, we have a woman in a sari walking nonchalantly in front of the murderers and they simply paid her no attention whatever. Women are not seen as the base of power in India, but part of those who are subject to the system. It is not like in the United States where women have become neighborhood goddesses to be worshipped or you face their snarling, self focused wrath. If the killers had come to murder in America I suspect they would have gunned the woman down under similar circumstances. They may have even dispatched with her head with a separate burst from a second clip after her demise, just to make sure the point hit home.

But India is not America. So what’s the deal? Homeless men–saved? Elite merchants who valued goods over even their own lives, because they wrongly view their goods as their source of life–slain on the spot? Game over!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrappppppppp !!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaap !!!

The poor guy now lays writhing in a pool of blood, gasping in pain, like on fire, in horror at his last seconds, kicking to remain conscious–to live just to draw breath another time, to see and hear and know, and … yet spraying blood and gore all over his goods–gasping for air during his last prayers to a pantheon of false gods, with lung meat fragments spraying out of his mouth, into a foamy broth of crimson gore.

It is very disturbing to contemplate. Yet perhaps we ought to do so. I have been graphic for that cause. It is unlike me, really. Real angels of death are coming, however. They will execute selectively. It is no laughing matter. This is not from mankind, however. I do not speak of angels of death as a “catch phrase” attributed to any of the human family, presuming to act on behalf of God or Right or any other cause, by slaying people. It is repugnant for any human being to slay another. Jehovah forbids it. I am talking about Divine Justice, from the true God who actually lives and breathes and whose Son is now ruling in the heavens. His Angels, all called the Destroyer, will come, as they came into Egypt and as they came into the camps of the ancient Assyrians. It has long since been foretold. Ezekiel the priest and prophet foretold it by inspiration.

Read this carefully and see what the distinction is between those who were executed and those who were not.

(Ezekiel 9:2-7)  ”And, look! there were six men coming from the direction of the upper gate that faces to the north, each one with his weapon for smashing in his hand; and there was one man in among them clothed with linen, with a secretary’s inkhorn at his hips, and they proceeded to come in and stand beside the copper altar. 3 And as regards the glory of the God of Israel, it was taken up from over the cherubs over which it happened to be to the threshold of the house, and he began calling out to the man that was clothed with the linen, at whose hips there was the secretary’s inkhorn. 4 And Jehovah went on to say to him: “Pass through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and you must put a mark on the foreheads of the men that are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done in the midst of it.” 5 And to these [others] he said in my ears: “Pass through the city after him and strike. Let not your eye feel sorry, and do not feel any compassion. 6 Old man, young man and virgin and little child and women YOU should kill off—to a ruination. But to any man upon whom there is the mark do not go near, and from my sanctuary YOU should start.” So they started with the old men that were before the house. 7 And he said further to them: “Defile the house and fill the courtyards with the slain ones. Go forth!” And they went forth and struck in the city.”

Jehovah is not susceptible to man’s laws. He has His own Law. It is holy. It is always just. It is something we all ought to be carefully studying and striving to meet and discuss in an organized format daily. Anyone who is moaning and groaning about the times will want to do so. He will enforce it at His good pleasure and His doing so will be righteous and justified, under His Law. Are we?

Very well, All pleasantries disposed of. What does this mean?

(Matthew 13:41-42) “. . .The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out from his kingdom all things that cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness, 42 and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. . .”

Lawlessness is “sin” (1 John 3:4) and those practicing it are pushing “all in” for what? They are in truth saying I do not really believe. I can have just this one last pleasure or stolen benefit. Then I can slide back under mercy. Then I can …

NO! It is this:

(Hebrews 10:26-31) “. . .For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but [there is] a certain fearful expectation of judgment and [there is] a fiery jealousy that is going to consume those in opposition. Any man that has disregarded the law of Moses dies without compassion, upon the testimony of two or three. Of how much more severe a punishment, do YOU think, will the man be counted worthy who has trampled upon the Son of God and who has esteemed as of ordinary value the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has outraged the spirit of undeserved kindness with contempt? For we know him that said: “Vengeance is mine; I will recompense”; and again: “Jehovah will judge his people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of [the] living God.”

A Fiery jealousy that is going to consume those in opposition, and the Messiah’s Angels who are going to pitch them into the fiery furnace ...

As the w52 2/15 p. 127 Questions From Readers makes clear:

“Willful sin, with eyes wide open to the undeniable operation of God’s holy spirit or active force, is unforgivable and we should not pray for the forgiveness of such sinners. Even before Christ’s time intercession was not to be made for such ones. (Jer. 7:1-16; 11:14; 14:11) Willful sinners, insincere and unrepentant, set in their evil ways and unwilling to conform to God’s requirements, have “no forgiveness forever”; which means that when they die they go into second death.”

So what does it mean that they will be pitched spiritually into a fiery furnace of fiery jealousy, where they will weep and gnash their teeth?

I think of a brother who not long ago lied to the elders about a certain man and his wife, knowingly lied to them, misled them, misrepresented the facts, and he carefully got two witnesses other than himself to support him: his wife and this certain man’s stepson. Now … he knew what he was doing. When the horrific spectacle was over, he danced on his kitchen floor, after hurting this certain man and his wife. The following day as this certain man drove up outside, through the window he could see him in his throne room, the kitchen, where he arched his neck, like fist fighters do as they taunt their opponent just before hitting him, unbridled arrogance, pride–as one saying, “See who’s alpha dog here, hugh?”–and a complete and total “opposition”to what was true or right or even holy, and a total focus on what force or wickedness had achieved. Truth be told, the brother is suffering now, horribly. In spiritual terms he is as deep as a infant’s bath water. You could stub your dry toe on the drain. I am fearful for him.

There is a key fact missing that could unlock the mystery because it would point to cause for “jealousy” on the part of the brother. So what is the certain man and his wife to do?

Write. Minister. Pray. Attend Meetings. Study the scriptures. Love God and God’s people with the love of the Christ. Partake. Wait upon Jehovah. Love his neighbor as himself. Pray even for the brother.

None of us can possibly know when any one called a brother (1 Corinthians 5:11-14) is to be tossed into a fiery jealousy. We do know that they are not yet executed because executed people cannot gnash their teeth or weep, the dead know nothing at all. We do know that, as the Slave makes clear, they will harden into their sin because as the Slave says it, they “set in their evil ways.” Nor am I saying this is now.  That is way above my pay grade. But we also do know that things will catch most everyone by surprise, at a time most all think to be unlikely. We also know that the weeds are to grow up beside the wheat and it is the weeds that are gathered up first and thrown into the furnace.

The furnace leads to death. We know how that comes. It is dreadful. We can find ourselves “cut off” and while we might think we are right or that we have gotten away with something, we find ourselves, instead, growing bitter at the Brothers, we become fault finders and critical thinkers and we find ourselves acting with that spirit of independence, judging the brothers. That is so dangerous as to think that we are confronted by the very same Mumbai gunmen, lethal, selective, efficient in their work.

Let us love the brothers instead. Let us obey the Word and the Channel of Communication always. If I ever say otherwise, sign off and do not come back ever. If anyone ever says otherwise, walk away. Moan and groan over the times. Sigh. Get that mark of salvation. Live it. Breathe it. Every day.

Blasphemous Series Entitled, “Divine Recruits”: Notes On Propaganda

In American Religion, Babylon the Great, Catholic Church, Crime & Punishment, Propaganda, Prophecies, Scripture, World Condition, echo chamber on December 29, 2008 at 11:23 am

In this photograph of the Rev. Chrispin Oneko, A Catholic Priest and pastor, with a young boy in a T-shirt and probably–not sure–a pair of red shorts, in Owensboro, Kentucky, where the current low temperatures are around 23-31 degrees, leads us to ask a few questions about propaganda. What are they trying to say so publicly via the New York Times–America can trust its little boys to a new wave of Catholic clerics? Are we saying that America’s little boys no longer fear the new Catholic clerics and neither should we? Are we hearing the NY Times say that Jehovah the Living and True God supports the Catholic Church?

Very few Catholic priests were sued or indicted for molesting little girls, almost invariably it was the closeted homosexual priest whose sexuality broke out into the menacing scourge of the century, so bantered about in the media and in the courts of several nations and continents, all at once, since about 1952 until now.

One thing for sure, the weather is such that we do not reasonably find little boys wearing shorts and t-shirts outside in Owensboro, Kentucky, in this the last week of December 2008, any more than we would expect to find any shepherds in the fields at night in December in Israel around 29 C.E. They–the little boys of Owensboro–wear coats and boots and act like other young people when it is actually fairly cold outside. So why the charade for public consumption of what amounts to a lie? And what shall we say about a newspaper series that flippantly but erroneously makes reference to “divine recruits”? This is a blasphemy without a doubt to any true Christian. It is both senseless and unnecessary and it is astoundingly inciting.

I have an altogether different theory. It is, as is customary, largely of the inconceivable.

If the subset of the whole world who reads the New York Times is propagandized with the view that Jehovah, the true God, recruits Catholic Priests from foreign countries into Roman Catholic parishes throughout the United States, what does it say about God? Ah … now we are getting somewhere nearer to the truth. This whole thing is about “slander” and for the uninitiated that is precisely what the very name “Devil” means. Any questions? Alright, let us dig in a bit and explore this latest segment side-by-side with my first in response to the series.

The second installment speaks primarily of Catholic Priest Chrispin Oneka, from Kenya. He seems to be a really nice man. Sincere in his faith and in his consecration by the Roman Ritual (Rituale Romanum) of Holy Orders. Technically, the ordination of the Catholic Priest is performed in conformity with the appropriate portion of Book 2 of the Rites. His bumper sticker on his Ford Taurus says it all. Everything reduced to that special “Hallmark” or “Precious Moments” sentimentality.

If you read the series you feel as though you have read a PR piece for the rehabilitation of the whole Catholic clergy class. Seminarians are down considerably from prior years. Priests sometimes extend their various religious sorceries across very wide geographical areas. The Roman Catholic Church in the United states alone has reportedly paid out over $2 Billion, primarily in molest of boys claims, as of last year, with the latest claims coming out of the molestation ground zero of the Los Angeles Diocese of California.

Yet how can we so quickly see what is blatantly a PR piece without the nexus of Covington, Kentucky. How close is Covington, to Owensboro, Ky? The two are separated by about nine (9) counties across the northern frontier boundary of the state (Kenton County vs. Daviess County) Why Covington? Yet why the distance? From “Current Scope of the Problem Within the Catholic Church,” B.A. Robinson, 12/2/2006 latest update:

“Covington, KY: In 2005, the diocese established a $120 million fund to compensate an unknown number of victims. The diocese has only 89,000 parishioners. So far, the diocese has revealed that 205 allegations have been received against 35 of its priests — nearly 10% of the total number of 354 priests who have worked in the diocese over the past 50 years. Sixteen of the priests have died; five have been defrocked; 14 have been permanently removed from ministry but remain priests. The maximum cost per parishioner could be as much as $1,300. Claimants will be divided into four groups, depending on the nature and severity of the abuse. Compensation for members would range from $5,000 to $450,000.”

“The exact number of abuse victims who will come forward in the future is unknown. The diocese is planning to collect $80 million from its insurance companies. The remaining $40 million will come from a combination of “investments and real estate.” Any unused amount in the fund will revert to the diocese. Stanley Chesley, lead attorney for the plaintiffs, wrote in a statement: “This is a very important and in many ways unprecedented result in an extremely difficult matter.” Bishop Roger Foys wrote in a  statement. “After personally meeting with more than 70 victims, I am painfully aware that no amount of money can compensate for the harm these victims suffered as innocent children. Nevertheless, I pray that this settlement will bring some measure of peace and healing to victims and their loved ones.”

Nine counties away, on a day nearing January, little boys rush in to mingle with a priest in chasuble and vestments for Mass in an entirely empty church, in shorts and a T-shirt?

You can touch me–see I am not to be feared–see, I am not afraid.

All better. Phew. Glad that one is over with.

But why the interest by the New York Times, which so clearly panders to the Jewish state and to wealthy American Jewish interests? In the first instance, it is harmless to those interests. Look, the spirituality of the Owensboro propaganda piece is so “deep” that if you stepped in you would risk stubbing a dry toe. Notice this typically American brand of religious expression, from installment two of the series:

“At his last set of three weekend Masses, Father Oneko began his homily with a rambling African story about a hyena, a monkey and a tortoise. At the punch lines, no one in the first two Masses laughed. By the third, he had the timing down better and some chuckled. The story was about being grateful, and he spent the next 20 minutes thanking everyone he could think of by name. The homily lasted 35 minutes.”

People. Listen carefully and do not miss out on the truth underlying this thing.

The apostle Paul counseled Timothy against this very practice long ago, writing pointedly about our times. (Romans 15:4)

(2 Timothy 4:3-5)  ”For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do [the] work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.” (Emphasis Added)

What is the evidence of not putting up with the healthful teaching? Did you read the NY Times quote and count the 35-20 and arrive at 15 minutes? People listen to this carefully–they do not even realize what they are saying:

OAK GROVE, Ky. — The Rev. Chrispin Oneko, hanging up his vestments after leading one of his first Sunday Masses at his new American parish, was feeling content until he discovered several small notes left by his parishioners.”

The notes, all anonymous, conveyed the same message: Father, please make your homilies shorter. One said that even five minutes was too long for a mother with children.”

Even five minutes is too long for a mother with children?

(Deuteronomy 6:4-9)  “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. And you must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your vital force. And these words that I am commanding you today must prove to be on your heart; and you must inculcate them in your son and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. And you must tie them as a sign upon your hand, and they must serve as a frontlet band between your eyes; and you must write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

That does not apply to me anymore? That was ancient Israel and no longer applies to us today? There is no link to this scripture and what Chrispin Oneka does, teaching false stories about a hyena, monkey, and tortoise?

(Galatians 1:6-9)  ”I marvel that YOU are being so quickly removed from the One who called YOU with Christ’s undeserved kindness over to another sort of good news. But it is not another; only there are certain ones who are causing YOU trouble and wanting to pervert the good news about the Christ. However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to YOU as good news something beyond what we declared to YOU as good news, let him be accursed. As we have said above, I also now say again, Whoever it is that is declaring to YOU as good news something beyond what YOU accepted, let him be accursed.”

But you would not be popular in the parish if you taught the Good News of the Scriptures and the Law and the Prophets and the Wisdom Books–that which is complete, that has already arrived.

(Galatians 1:10-12) ”Is it, in fact, men I am now trying to persuade or God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I would not be Christ’s slave. For I put YOU on notice, brothers, that the good news which was declared by me as good news is not something human; for neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught [it], except through revelation by Jesus Christ.”

A fifteen minute homily, which is primarily comprised of a false story about a hyena, monkey, and tortoise, followed by thanking everyone by name? We should be grateful? Nice bumper sticker slogan. Feel good in that purely American version of the Hallmark Moment? Now we get back to our lives as they were? Make it brief but make sure you tickle my ears with false stories so that scriptures might be fulfilled?  I have kids? Let’s cut to the Eucharist sorcery show and let us be on our way? Nobody is being fed with the real manna from heaven, the Word itself!

The fires are coming and whole parishes are being misled and as we witness this spectacle of ruination, we have the media linking it to the Holy One of Israel, whose Word says entirely something else entirely from what the media portrays to the sleeping masses.

Stories About Increasing Black Teen Murderers & Trespassing Pool Skaters: The Nexus Please?

In Crime & Punishment, Economics, Failure of Governmental Regulation, Great Tribulation, Hate Crime, Musings, Propaganda, Prophecies, Scripture, Unemployment, United States/ Great Britain, World Condition, echo chamber, economic crisis, financial crisis, financial intermediaries, world on December 29, 2008 at 9:21 am

Criminologists tell us that the murder rate among Black teens in America has risen. Economic conditions have left massive numbers of homes foreclosed and the families evicted, either into apartments or into the streets. Swimming pool skateboarders are trespassing into thousands of foreclosed properties to skate in the empty swimming pools, using computer search tools such as Googleearth and those provided by the real estate industry for real property sales purposes, such as realquest.com and Realtor.com.

We have a whole new cottage industry rising up to literally counsel and advise bloodthirsty capitalists into making profits in these difficult times, how to get a piece of some $700 Billion in federal bailout money or how to buy at fire sale prices tasty assets that can be transformed into boatloads of cash down the road. Those who have served as lawyers or top officials in the Resolution Trust Corporation (“RTC”)are drawing premium fees for their unique knowledge base and experience into an industry known as “distressed assets.” Names like John L. Douglas, L. William Seidman are bragging about how wonderful things are and how desperately much they are enjoying these economic times. Gary J. Silversmith reportedly declared: (Id)

“Fortunes will be made here, no doubt about it,” said Gary J. Silversmith, one of more than a dozen former R.T.C. officials interviewed who now are involved in enterprises seeking to profit from bank bailouts.”

What does this mean? We simply have yet another change in the business cycle, and those who are flexible and prepared with massive liquid assets will haul away a watershed of profit from the injury and hurt of American economic insanity?

It only seems that way. It may seem that way for a time. Let me ask you a question that is somewhat rhetorical in nature?

What do you suppose this prophecy would actually look like, translated from the allegorical and symbolic language of prophecy into the real life now realities face by mankind?

(Ezekiel 28:18-19)  ”… Owing to the abundance of your errors, because of the injustice of your sales goods, you have profaned your sanctuaries. And I shall bring forth a fire from the midst of you. It is what must devour you. And I shall make you ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all those seeing you. As for all those knowing you among the peoples, they will certainly stare in amazement at you. Sudden terrors are what you must become, and you will be no more to time indefinite. …”

I think of the swimming pools and how many of them are going undrained, creating habitat for things like the West Nile Virus, rats, and other things, as the NY Times story above referenced by jump link reports:

“In many warmer states, the authorities are trying literally to bail out pools, using pumps, dredges and strong stomachs to attack a surge in abandoned ones that have attracted all manner of nastiness — rats or belligerent raccoons, or algae, dead leaves and worse. These so-called green pools can become a breeding ground for mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus.”

Meanwhile, … at the new cottage industry rising up for the wealthy to “capitalize” upon historic economic suffering they use terms like what to describe their work? In one caption to a photo of Eugene Ludwig, by Manuel Balce Ceneta/Associated Press,  linked to a story about RTC veterans referenced by jump link above, Mr. Ludwig is reported as saying, “people are seeking his advice on ‘How do we contain the flames?’” Here is a current list of proud executives who are neck deep in this new industry at the NY Times.

How do we contain the flames? Let me discuss that briefly. You don’t contain the flames. Yo get out of their way. These assets are like hooks for diseased monsters. These assets are the ultimate poison pills. To swallow them you have to possess something reckless and dangerous–greed. I was thinking about the prophecies of the half-brother of Jesus, James:

(James 5:1-3)  ”Come, now, YOU rich [men], weep, howling over YOUR miseries that are coming upon YOU. YOUR riches have rotted, and YOUR outer garments have become moth-eaten. YOUR gold and silver are rusted away, and their rust will be as a witness against YOU and will eat YOUR fleshy parts. Something like fire is what YOU have stored up in the last days.”

Those who go that way are unable to resist themselves, they have decided that they do not “believe,” or worse, their lying pastors have told them what they have paid them to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3-4) Some of these men (and women, too) will tell anyone who will listen, that making money is not wrong in and of itself, and they will talk about having “balance” in such matters. The word “balance” does not exist in all of the holy scriptures once. Not once. And we have legions of souls who will “balance” themselves right out of everlasting life because they used faulty weights. They were not listening carefully because they, too, heard only what they wanted to hear, just like the ones with the lying pastors. The hooks take away all alike. It is a vast sea of trout lines all grabbing the same thing, at the same time.

Meanwhile … racial tensions are rising. One of the realities of the housing boom that began in the late 1990’s is it was in part aimed at ensuring minority home ownership. That was its catchphrase, of course, what was “said” to incite participation. The realities are far and away more gruesome. The minorities at issue were given VIR subprime loans at amazingly high rates. Now the people involved are often defaulting on their loans, as economic conditions worsen this will continue to widen into further economic catastrophe. When you hear officials talk about the housing market hitting bottom sometime this coming Spring, they are “hoping” that all who will continue to default will have done so and that, for the most part, the subprime holders at issue will have persisted in their loans, come what may, or have refinanced at fixed rate levels they can for the short-term afford.

When you have a disproportionate number of foreclosures among, say, minority families, and higher overall rates than those charged, say, to the elite whites near the country club for their gated condominium communities, will their be resentments as these people are pushed from the cusp of the American dream, back to the cusp of “in the streets”? Will there be anger? Will that anger express itself in Black teenagers killing each other at first and, ultimately, turning their covetous and angry eyes back over the tracks at who and what kicked them out?

These are not the full scope of the problem and only represent a segment. There are others. Many others. Yet what I am trying to say, here, is that these stories go together, they knit into a mosaic or fabric with a pattern on it, and that mosaic or pattern is like a picture of something–a picture of something that, ultimately, will resemble something from the end times prophecies. We are not to run ahead. We are not to teach them. We are not even to necessarily be convinced unless they come through the authorized channel. For what we “believe” we wait on that as we should and as we must because Jehovah uses His authorized channel and only that channel. In the interim, we are simply enjoined and repeatedly and often–to be awake and to stay that way, to not allow our hearts to become weighed down so that what I am likely writing about does not catch us as a snare–and this in part means we at bare minimum keep our eyes open, on the watch, so that we are not surprised. We’ll be heard to say if we are awake–I was wondering about that one. We’ll know for sure when it matters most. In some cases we may not understand it completely until after-the-fact, when the whole circus is over with.

I am only saying this: I would not go within a texas Mile of those so-called “distressed assets.” Whomsoever does will more likely than not regret it in the long-run. The rust of these things may  testify against them in the last hours, when things unzip and the unfolding of the Great Tribulation erupts upon the entire earth. I am also saying that these things happening all around us are part and parcel of the end times, now finding their way into our experience, and there is only one possible explanation for them that will ultimately explain them all–the scriptures. They all–all these things happening–come from man’s disobedience to Jehovah’s standards. All of them if they are part of the Tribulation which is an aggregate of many things all at once, in historic proportions. Every single one of them, in one way or another, will come back as a set of teeth to savage and destroy. They all come likewise from a failure of governmental wisdom as well. And, yes, they all come from demonic inspirations that mislead the inhabited earth–the qualities that mankind will exhale primarily and live during the last days–qualities such as greed, lust, avarice, love of money, love of self, haughtiness, being puffed up with pride, being backbiters, fierce, insolent, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, and so forth. (2 Timothy 3:1-5 et seq) And you will notice in among them are those who “have a form of godly devotion” but they will prove false to its power. The “form of their godly devotion” was corrupted and the results were long ago foretold.

And lastly I am saying we are clearly and absolutely so much closer than what most anyone would dare imagine to the Great Day of Jehovah. It is near at the gates.

The rest … we will await the definitive word from the Authorized Voice. It will come at the right time, as the proper food for the domestics and their faithful companions. All this–for those who may be a bit complacent–is a wake up call. Food and sustenance. We shall be content with these things. Stop storing up treasures where rust and moth consume. Buy up treasure in heaven. Make friends with unrighteous riches for when these fail–and they are failing, right before our very eyes. Those who obey my commands are my friends. We know what this is if we are even remotely awake.  ~

Church of Rome & Its Eclectic Priesthood: “If They Mess Up, You Just Say: ‘See You’”

In American Religion, Babylon the Great, Catholic Church, Great Tribulation, Prophecies, Scripture, World Condition on December 28, 2008 at 8:49 am

As I look at a photograph of Catholic priests putting on their vestments in a dressing room at a Kentucky retreat, and one wearing what appears to be blue K-Mart tennis shoes, and observe another photograph of a priest–presumably during the mass’s procession of the Word–lifting an oversize, idolatrous version of what is probably only the second best translation of the divine scriptures (See: Jason David BeDuhn, “Truth in Translation …”) I am wondering just exactly what these very confused men are dressing up to attend to. At the retreat of foreign priests, one had to be sent home because he found himself “romantically entangled with a female co-worker,” another had to be sent home because he could not stand the cold, another because he isolated himself in the rectory, another because he refused to learn how to drive a car, and another who was hostile not just to Catholics but Hispanic Catholic priests who were not from Peru.

The Roman Church is striving to import priests from abroad because they cannot get enough of them from America to serve American parishes. I am not striving to be disingenuous simply to be obstreperous with such remarks as “very confused men.” According to “Serving Short-Handed U.S. Parishes, Fathers Without Borders,” NY Times, in addition to the foregoing examples:

“One priest admits he stood at an altar once and forgot exactly which church he was in.”

Aside from the idolatrous sorcery that is at the very heart of Roman Catholic liturgy, the story above describes the priest charged with recruiting priests from abroad. He is actively engaging in what the divine scriptures has in one version or another, for nearly two thousand years, taught and enjoined as the “practice of spiritism”–what is literally known as “druggery” in the Greek (Pharmakia).

“So Father Venters, lean and leathery as the Marlboro man — a cigarette in one hand and a cellphone with a ring tone like a church bell in the other — …”

The scriptures are crystal clear about the filthy practice of smoking cigarette and other tobacco. (Galatians 5:19-20) “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they … practice of spiritism. . .” The consequences for unrepentant persistence of spiritistic practice and idolatry is also made clear in the scriptures: (Revelation 21:8)  ”But as for … those practicing spiritism and idolaters a…, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death.”

Yet the Church of Rome cannot seem to understand these basics and their relationship to serving alongside Jesus Christ as a purported priest of Jehovah.

At least they have it established into a schematic of discipline–if they import priests and they rape children in the vestry, they can merely send them back to the country they came from. Phew! That makes things a whole lot easier than having to contact the authorities and pay out billions of dollars in lawsuit damages.

I am actually scratching my head, wondering just exactly what these very, very confused men are dressing up for? Meanwhile, the recruiter–described as the Marlboro man–exhales demonic influence as he calls for foreign sorcerers for American Churches of Rome. You would think someone would have even a clue as to what the scriptures taught. If the man holding it up truly values it he would immediately resign his priesthood and join the true Christian Congregation. I hope they all do. Swiftly. Time is fast running out to do so.
