World Economic Forum: The Econometrics Of World Pain & Its Forum Stars Are On Parade

The entire world has sent its pertinent luminaries to Davos-Klosters, Switzerland to talk and talk and talk and talk and when the talking is finished the luminaries will pack their bags and return home, to what was going to happen anyway before they left, to what was inevitable even if they were not born. In light of the participants’ academic and related credentials it is an astounding mix of important nobodies who somehow believe that by having something to say and a name badge, by seeing their name on a roster and hearing that they are both recognized and acknowledged by those whom all participants consider distinguished and important, they have helped to achieve  the motto–that “economic progress without social development is not sustainable, while social development without economic progress is not feasible.”

Perhaps Marvin Shur would have been impressed that such luminaries were meeting in luxurious settings to talk about the very things that killed him and perhaps   the world’s people, increasingly fearful over what is coming, will be grateful that a roster of such important and superbly educated people have met and talked about the world’s economic problems and challenges.

I do not think either is very likely. The only ones who really benefit from these sorts of things are the people involved, their egos and their sense of achievement even if distorted and fanciful, and those whom the people involved spend money with–the motels, diners, bars, stores,  and  the like.

Nonetheless, what are they saying in Davos this morning?  Andrew Ross Sorkin’s “Deal Book,” DAVOS DIARY 2009. By KATRIN BENNHOLD

“As if the current crisis wasn’t bad enough, one workshop on Wednesday looked at all the other crises that could be lurking around the corner.”

“A nuclear terrorist attack: “Quite plausible,” remarked one panelist.”

“A nuclear arms race: “We have been sleep-walking,” sighed another.”

“Widespread protectionism: “The liberal economic order is flying on autopilot as we’re flying into the biggest financial storm,” argued a third. “How can we be confident that we will not crash?”

“Other scenarios that were bandied around included more confrontation with Russia; a full-blown trade war between the United States and China sparked by careless sparring over the level of the Chinese currency; and more genocide in Africa.”

AND …

“What’s endemic to financial crises is that the rate at which we innovate is greater than the rate at which we learn from them.”

“In other words, the next round of financial innovation is bound to lead up to another financial crisis.”

“The sole consolation: It probably won’t happen for a while.”

I will get back to you on the content of Davos as it progresses. Yet I am telling you at the outset that this lavish parade of  those who believe in their own superiority over the world they talk about will produce only one thing: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.  Not even a post script on the final result of a world that is truly headed for the end-of the-rails reality  everyone  knows is down the road somewhere,   even though nobody knows precisely when. Train wreck. Coming soon. Like the Titanic’s fateful voyage into history, we have a lavish party and  all spread out is the luxurious mirage that is status in our warped and senseless world order, and just ahead is the ice berg that makes it all utterly without value. The reason why is because nobody at this conference has any steering wheel to turn the ship away. Nobody does. It does not even exist for mankind to steer the ship now headed for the ice and certain disaster on the seas of mankind.

Get out your life jackets while you still can.  The economic ship is going down. Tallking about it will alter nothing except prove how futile man’s efforts have always been to do what only God can do–govern.

Davo is a monument to the stupidity of mankind and to his arrogance and pride.   It is like the Red Carpet of Hollywood. Dazzling white silk and all the trimmings. L:avish beyond compare. Is it any wonder those  living so lavishly forgot the whole world they talk about?

(Isaiah 19:11-15)  “The princes of Zo´an are indeed foolish. As regards the wise ones of Phar´aoh’s counselors, [their] counsel is something unreasonable. How will YOU men say to Phar´aoh: “I am the son of wise ones, the son of kings of ancient time”? Where, then, are they—the wise men of yours—that they may now tell you and that they may know what Jehovah of armies has counseled concerning Egypt? (Isaiah 47:12-15)  “Stand still, now, with your spells and with the abundance of your sorceries, in which you have toiled from your youth; that perhaps you might be able to benefit, that perhaps you might strike people with awe. Michigan Man Slowly Freezes To Death In House With Power Cutoff: Bay City, Michigan Says: “We Did Nothing Wrong”!

The American media’s “echo chamber” persists in its drone about how Barack Obama is in a much stronger position that was George W. Bush following his divisive election to his first term. The “ship of state” has been tacked in an entirely new direction, say the pundits, and a long laundry list of Executive Orders is being bantered to prove the new President’s political and even moral moxy. The ship of state turns slowly, of course, and the stories line up in the aggregate to describe nonetheless how that ship is slicing fiercely through very rough waters, fighting against the massive inertia that is the momentum of what is nearly the last decade at least, difficult tides and currents, and so forth. The import, of course, is hang on, things are going to get better, new leadership is in town.

Yesterday a veritable river of layoffs were announced by the world of greedy profits and surely the American Social Security payments are insufficient for most any dog to survive, even if exceedingly frugal.

Marvin E. Shur, a 93 year old man who used to live in Bay city, Michigan, could not afford to pay his electric bill at Bay City Electric Light & Power. He owed them about $1,000.00. So they coldly cut it off. That’s it, Marvin. Go home and congeal. That was the value of this senior citizen to the world around him. “ 93-year-old Bay City man froze to death inside his home just days after the municipal power company restricted his electricity use because of unpaid bills, officials said. The man, Marvin E. Schur, died “a slow, painful death,” said Kanu Virani, Oakland County’s deputy chief medical examiner, who performed the autopsy.”

Last night the snow came down in a swift blizzard and temperatures on the Colorado Plateau did a rapid a nosedive, leading immediately to frozen streets. I came down a hill like a group of kids on a toboggan, blew through a stop sign sideways, and managed to be stopped by the curb before plunging into a section of the surrounding forest. I could not ever remember streets being so impossibly treacherous to navigate, driving in snow is not something I am either nervous or troubled by usually.

Throughout the Northeast, a massive blizzard has lined up to do its business, it looks like very cold and icy conditions, from Washington, D.C. all the way to Boston. “Snowfall Threat Closes Schools: Snowfall Could Be Biggest In Years,” Washington Post.com,

“While it’s going to be mainly snow farther inland, it will be a mix … from Washington north to Boston.”

I wonder how many elderly people, disabled people, people layed off from their employment, will find themselves in the impossible dilemma of either spending money on staying warm or freezing so that maybe they might be able to make the car payment and buy their prescriptions next month? People are hurting out there and as the American echo chamber of propaganda spin does its works one must wonder aloud what happened to the admonitions about what to do with unrighteous riches, what happened to the admonitions about how to treat the elderly and the infirm in our midst. Here is what Bay City, Michigan does, in the middle of the so-called “Bible Belt–it raises the rates even higher! “Bay City Raises Electric Rates As Marvin Shur’s Death Sparks Anger,” Michigan Live.com, Bay City News.

“Phil Newton, electric department director, said there are about 60 to 70 limiters in use across the city, about three times as many as a year ago. He blames the bad economy, which has left residents struggling to pay their bills. He said the city issues about 50 shut-off notices each week.

“It’s been terrible. We’ve seen it for over a year now,” he said. “We actually have almost two full-time people just dedicated to going around and turning people on and off and putting on limiters. It’s just really bad.”

As things continue to fail on the economic front, what are we to do? Let us first recall the admonition by Jesus, if we are to remain his friends.

(Luke 16:9-10)  “Also, I say to YOU, Make friends for yourselves by means of the unrighteous riches, so that, when such fail, they may receive you into the everlasting dwelling places.”

The economic system typified by “unrighteous riches” was always such that it would by necessity fail. That such would fail has always been a foregone conclusion, it was only a matter of time. Well, that “time” appears to be approaching rapidly over the horizon. More Marvin Shur’s are coming–many more. And what happens to them is testimony about the governments that preside over the jurisdictions where these things happen. Did they “make friends with unrighteous riches” or did they send out a full time staff to shut off and limit necessary power to aged men and women who simply could not afford to pay the bills charged and due to their age and infirmity have no alternatives available to them, as to going out and earning money at 93 years of age. Those who know the Majestic Jehovah, the glorious Father of all Light and Love know how He is about such matters as these. There is no getting around it, people. We are being inspected and the results will not be something most will be pleased to receive:

(Exodus 22:22-24)  “YOU people must not afflict any widow or fatherless boy. If you should afflict him at all, then if he cries out to me at all, I shall unfailingly hear his outcry; and my anger will indeed blaze, and I shall certainly kill YOU with the sword, and YOUR wives must become widows and YOUR sons fatherless boys.”

(Deuteronomy 10:16-18)  “YOU must circumcise the foreskin of YOUR hearts and not harden YOUR necks any longer. For Jehovah YOUR God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the God great, mighty and fear-inspiring, who treats none with partiality nor accepts a bribe, executing judgment for the fatherless boy and the widow and loving the alien resident so as to give him bread and a mantle.”

When the Great Day arrives in its fury in Bay City, Michigan, as elsewhere, will it be a defense to an adverse Divine Judgement to say?

“I had no choice, I had to turn Marvin Shur’s power off. I was commanded to do it by another with authority over me.”

I think the employee who did turn that man’s power off is liable in blood for Marvin Shur’s death. I believe that Bay City is liable for Marvin Shur’s death. And as we progress and things get very much worse for most everyone, we will increasingly face very difficult choices such as these. And the reason why they are difficult has less to do with understanding what is either “right” or “wrong” but, rather, it is because we wish to be comfortable and warm and safe and we are willing to do far and away more than what we should be willing to do in order to stay that way. We all will get our chance to stand up for the Ways of Jehovah and when we do stand up for Him, for Who and What the Majestic One is, we will be punished for it–perhaps severely. Jesus was. Nobody yet has suffered as he did, for doing absolutely nothing wrong, but for standing up for Jehovah’s Rightful Sovereignty, for God’s Kingdom.

We do have a standard by which to act in such matters, come what may. We ought not to focus on remaining safe and secure while we injure and hurt another for the means to stay that way. You see, harlotry is any action done by any individual which sacrifices integrity for personal benefit–money. That is something that is being tested and examined closely worldwide. We have a model going all the way back to the beginning of God’s working with His people as to how to avoid being that harlot.

(Hebrews 11:24-26)  “By faith Moses, when grown up, refused to be called the son of the daughter of Pharaoh, choosing to be ill-treated with the people of God rather than to have the temporary enjoyment of sin, because he esteemed the reproach of the Christ as riches greater than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked intently toward the payment of the reward.”

The “someone told me to do it” defense is no defense and accepting money to do this work is to accept with it bloodguilt. So what am I saying to those who are in the position of doings things like shutting power off to the likes of Marvin Shur? I am saying they had better quit their jobs and join him in the cold before they turn his power off and kill him. That action of turning his power off was as lethal as shooting him with a gun. He had no ability to turn it back on again. He had no money with which to pay the bill is the information I have. People, we must stop making judgments under false standards and make them instead by real standards. Let us recall the Messiah’s Commandment:

(Matthew 19:19) . . .You must love your neighbor as yourself. . .

Does that mean I cannot turn Marvin Shur’s power off, even though he owes the money by contract? Yes, it means at least that, for a certainty. You may not turn his power off! You work with him. You take what he can truly afford to pay. You arrange a bake sale to pay his bill if you have to. You pay his bill for him if you can. But you do not turn his power off! And if you do and you kill him, you are bloodguilty. And that bloodguilt can lead to the sword on the Great Day! You see, the standard does not say it is a good idea to treat one’s neighbor as he would like to be treated, the standard is you “must”–obedience is not optional, people. It is inspection time. This is our opportunity to let the glorious Father’s light shine in real life. Let us not miss our chance to do that for Him and we do it for Him by taking up the cause of the widow (or widower) and the fatherless boy. We do that for Him by taking up the cause of the elderly man in our midst. We honor Jehovah with our valuable things and when we do it is as if you have lent it to Jehovah. Jehovah has never and will never fail to pay any debt He obligates Himself to pay. Ever. That is to truly gain riches in heaven.

I pity the poor souls who pulled the plug on Marvin Shur.

And as we watch the new government in Washington, striving to become what reinvigorates a dead fish ideal—the American ‘Way of Life’ is that dead and stinking fish ideal—one thing will remain obvious: Social Security beneficiaries will not receive what they need to properly live, the disabled will continue to be shut out and crushed, and others whom Jehovah cares deeply for and is watching over closely will continue to be stepped on, as the harlots throughout the American social landscape continue to “get theirs.” They never saw it coming, why the whole stock and store is going to be taken away from everyone. They never understood what, if anything, they could do to protect themselves, in truth: stand up for the likes of Marvin Shur and pay his bill out of your own pockets.

That is making friends with unrighteous riches, that is what the glorious Lion of Judah meant!

If we are his friends we shall be quick to obey all that he has commanded us. The American media echo chamber does not know how to tell you that. So I did it. I hope you heard it clearly. Your life may very well depend upon it.

Frenetic News Over A Still Spiraling World Economy: The Idolatry Of Fortune Seeking Is Abuzz Over Its Future

The news summary this morning, in terms of the economy, is right out of my posts over the last six months or more. I hate to say “I told you so” and now may not be a good time to say it. Gloating is not my aim or my point. I am actually trying to encourage and to build up. This is all very good news indeed.

In Hong Kong, as they usher in the Chinese New Year–a festival I myself have seen in San Francisco in years past–one can see photographs of people reaching out to a chap dressed as the idolatrous god of fortune, and you sit back and realize just how superstitious the human being can become, with a little coaxing and the wrong type of encouragement the list is as endless as it is unseemly. Most anyone, anywhere, if asked, would like to be wealthy. Reaching out for this is not what it seems, however, and even now, as the banks sway back and forth on the face of the  entire planet earth, they still do not “get it.”  Pay attention to a few simple realities below and gain a breathtaking panorama of what is coming at us like a runaway freight train.

Satan will try to stop it but he will not prove able to stop it and that thought is intended to tell you plainly that you better get yourself ready for the Great Tribulation and the sole and only possible means of escape–the glorious Right Hand of Jehovah God, by means of Jesus Christ. There is no other Deliverer or Savior for what is coming. As the Physician reminds us plainly by inspiration of God’s spirit:

(Acts 4:12)  “Furthermore, there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.”

The list of corporate failures will continue to mount like casualties of war. It will be like the body counts of the Viet Nam war, a daily tally of the incalculable loss of man’s inability to govern anyone rightly or well. (Ecclesiastes 8:9; Jeremiah 10:23-24; Daniel 2:44)

This morning, Caterpillar announced it would lay off 1 in every 10 workers. 10% of its workforce. Those who stayed on would have their salaries frozen. It is an amazing choice of words–frozen–because it arises right out of the prophets, a derivative of the term “congealed.” The entire global philosophy, brought on by the liar who is Satan the Devil and his earthly seed, of “unlimited economic growth” was the most significant earthly thought of the 20th Century. Everywhere, everyone in business and caught up by any aspect of the spirit of the world, believed in becoming richer and richer, or increasingly more comfortable, or an almost endless list of similar expressions that all posited the very same general philosophy. And it seemed to offer mankind what they wanted most, they were willing to work for that, to save for it, and even to borrow against the future for it. And so this giant machine was built and it was sent into motion and this Night Train of Darkness is now on its final ride because the track is about out of time and there is simply not going to be any more track for it to run on and this train will find itself–congealed. Then the fun really begins.

I am almost breathless with excitement at what this all likely means, and I am utterly chomping at the bit to not run ahead and forget to tell others what I see before I disappear over the wall. Nobody really knows me well and if they did and if they knew what my deepest hope was they would be utterly astounded at what Jehovah God does for those He claims from the midst of those the entire world throws away. I have no earthly good idea how to even begin to say what I am trying to say, for I am much like a young boy who seeing something momentous down the road rushes back to the village to try and explain what he intuitively grasps is enormous beyond words and yet then turns and tries to put words out to explain what can only be intuitively grasped if at all.

Jehovah of Armies is truly going to laugh His enemies into derision. Listen to this from the charmers of the East, a demonically inspired lot, and this is what they get from the source of their inspiration,, from –”Year Of The Oxe Is Looking Inauspicious,” NY Times.com

“The Chinese Lunar New Year began Monday, and projections for the Year of the Ox from astrologers, lawyers, bankers and fishmongers are anything but auspicious.

The “mood” is another term for “spirit realm on the earth” and that it would be both ‘confused’–(2 Peter 2:4)–and ‘desperate’–(Revelation 12:12)–is something written right out of the scriptures and into the headlines of the day. It is just that the overwhelming vast majority of people truly do not understand the meaning of what they are reading. More … they will increasingly discover, if they seek the truth that truly sets them free, that the sole and only explanation for what is happening all around them originates in the Scriptures and that no other explanation, by anyone else, anywhere else, that points to God’s Word, is equal to that provided by the Faithful and Discreet Slave.

The entire Empire of Financial Intermediation is rocking back and forth, its skyscrapers in an earthquake, the likes of which the world has never seen before. Hear the latest buzz from the NY Times: “Nationalization Gets A New, Serious Look,” NY Times.com.

“Privately, most members of the Obama economic team concede that the rapid deterioration of the country’s biggest banks, notably Bank of America and Citigroup, is bound to require far larger investments of taxpayer money, atop the more than $300 billion of taxpayer money already poured into those two financial institutions and hundreds of others.”

The $300 Billion is an understatement as the second installment is being readied now and the banks are lining up for it like little pigs run after their mother pig’s teats. Insanity reigns in the skyscrapers as the likes of John Thain, the former CEO of Merrill Lynch used some $1.2 Million recently to decorate his lavish New York City office. And while people are getting very upset at reading about such things as his infamous $87,000.00 throw rug and $11,000.00 lamp shade, the real story is his paying $800,000.00 to hire famed interior designer Michael Smith to do the redesign. The insanity is so delicious because Barack and Michelle Obama just hired the same Michael Smith to redecorate the White House, for $100,000.00, plus whatever it is they need to buy. The “mood” is not only confused and desperate–it is “infectious” as well.

The Satanic leadership worldwide is always seeking for its own glory, its own advancement, its own aggrandizement. It knows nothing better because this is the mindset of demonic entitlement. It is so much like the spiritual “disease” that psychiatrists try to explain and fail to treat known as malignant narcissism. That is the very spirit of this world.

As the financial contagion continues its incurable viral work on a very, very sick world-economy patient, businesses are doing what everyone knew they would and have been afraid of, and here’s the latest reports of this growing epidemic, in addition to Caterpillar, mentioned above. “Major U.S. Companies To Slash Jobs,” WashingtonPost.com

“As companies begin announcing their financial results for the end of 2008, they are also moving fast to cut costs in response to poor results and a diminished outlook for the coming year.”

“The job cuts announced so far today include … 8,000 at the Sprint Nextel telecommunications company, 7,000 at Home Depot, and 8,000 anticipated from the pending merger of the Pfizer and Wyeth pharmaceutical companies.”

The news of losing jobs is now deemed to be so regular and routine the mass media harlot is developing news articles to make positive spin out of even all that, a good news come-what-may philosophy that arises out of making lemonade out of the lemons life gives. “Making It,” WashingtonPost.com:

“Tya Bolton used to manage outplacement services for laid-off people. Then she was downsized herself. And she says it’s the best thing that ever happened to her.”

The mass media allowed by the wild beast to continue will increasingly sound the propagandistic note for society.

We can simply decide to have a positive outlook, it is all of it purely a state of mind, and nobody needs to change, nobody needs to reject the failed American ‘Way of Life,’ it is still valid, it is just that you have to get more creative now, you have to somehow adjust, to become flexible. You have to overcome. This is not really adversity after all but merely a change in environment such that the flexible and the creative will still flourish, proving that there was nothing wrong with the American “Way of Life” after all.

Nonsense. And everyone is going to know that it is nonsense. Nobody will have to take my word for it, it will be so plain as day as to truly make everyone wonder aloud–what WAS I THINKING? The answer, of course, is whatever Satan wants them to think and the true fight left for anyone and everyone is to break free of that grip and to come into the light and there to stay. Time is fast running out.

From amidst the skyscrapers of the world’s collapsing economies and failed political institutions, from the failures of academia and science, from the failed philosophies that instead of producing bounty and happiness produce poverty and despair anyone desirous of knowing the truth can and will hear this plainly:

I was watching the unmitigated, deliberate evil of Aubrey Coleman’s stepping on the face of another athelete, during a mere sporting contest and the only residual question left, as applied to him, is why he would be allowed to ever play basketball again, anywhere on planet earth, ever, for so long as he lives, absent appropriate repentance and its fruits. The team that allows him to play is not worth watching as mere sport. It is, rather, a ghetto image of murderous hatred of others you have decided are less than you, much like Reginald Denny being hit with a large brick during the latest ghetto riots in Los Angeles, following the Rodney King case against Lawrence Powell, et al. Why any professional basketball team would find it either entertaining or profitable to have such a low-level mind on its rosters would stun even the demonic animal that inspired Aubrey Coleman to do what he did in the first place.

More than this–the incident begins to tell us what we look like in society today. Winning is everything. Step on someone’s face if you want to really show who is on top. Leave your feetprints on the face of another human being laying on the ground.

It is the same spirit that drives road rage in parking lots and street intersections everywhere, worldwide. It is the same spirit that permits one to steal from another, to churn his bank account or stock brokerage account worldwide. The spirit that produces conduct like that achieves mass murders as well, for there is no meaningful difference, really. It is hatred of one’s fellow man. And it is always in each instance proof beyond any reasonable doubt of the hatred even for God, for man was made in God’s image and that is the spiritual reality of stepping on the face of another, deliberately, purposefully.

“haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.” –2 Timothy 3:1-5–But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming,

“. . .If anyone makes the statement: “I love God,” and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also.” –1 John 4:20-21–

Aubrey Coleman probably does not know any better. He lives and breathes the spirit of the world and thrives in it. He feels more powerful than most, perhaps; maybe he is convinced that he can live that kind of life and remain on top. His “attitude” is Satanic if that is fairly descriptive of how he subjectively truly feels. One would hope not. Yet this is truly what the entire world is coming to. It cannot contain its hatreds much longer. It–humanity–wants to break out into a fiendish carnival of hate, a murderous spree of smashing all whom are hated, and it–humanity–does not even understand why. It just wants to hate and it wants to smash and it wants to destroy.

What humanity is unable to discern is how that is something else being expressed in a much, much larger case being played out worldwide, everywhere, all at once. That face stomp we witness in the link above, and the heart condition that led to it, is what the children of the demonic realm will act as things wind down to the end. You can tell the children of Satan by their conduct just as plainly as almost anyone can now tell the children of God.

“The children of God and the children of the Devil are evident by this fact: Everyone who does not carry on righteousness does not originate with God, neither does he who does not love his brother.” –1 John 3:10-11–

That is telling us just how close things are. We truly are living deep into the times of the end. We always know that the weeds would need to grow up side–by-side with the wheat, but we overlooked how stunningly obvious the weeds would ultimately become to anyone paying attention. Let us hope the wheat becomes equally as obvious.

Let us turn away from such things as the sport that ushers in face stomping violence as part of the contest. It is time to walk out of collegiate basketball games for good if this violence, as is evidenced in the Aubrey Coleman case, isn’t severely punished by collegiate authorities. This is not entertainment: it is the loving of violence. And the faithful worldwide know what that means … and why no person among the faithful would be caught dead at such a game any longer …

Post Script: January 27, 2009

I am not sure if I believe Aubrey Coleman is sincere in offering an apology for the misconduct descibed above and in the news reports about the incident, but it is, at bare minimum, fair that it be mentioned that he has in fact apologized. The reason why I am finding it difficult to believe Mr. Coleman is because he looked right at the player on the ground, his eyes saw him where he was, and the player did not move significantly or at all, in between the step by Mr. Coleman and the affront of stepping on another player’s face, on the ground. The second reason I am reserved is because the apology came by way of a spokesperson and not Mr. Coleman himself. Third, I am as of yet reserved because the apology is tardy, and comes on the heels of a suspension from playing in the next home game by C-USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky.

Nonetheless, … this is what Mr. Coleman’s publicity apparatus says about the incident: “Coleman Apologizes For His Flagrant Foul,” Houston Chronicle.com

 

“I want to apologize to Chase Budinger for what happened,” Coleman said. “I never meant to step on him. I have never been in an incident like this before, and I have nothing but respect for him as a great player. I love the game too much to do something like that intentionally. I want to say I am sorry from the bottom of my heart.”

The Horrors Of Gaza: Musings On Steven Erlanger’s “Proportionality” & “Discrimination” Among The Jews

Steven Erlanger of the New York Times propounds a hypothetical  scenario as an ethical dilemma, naturally portraying an impossible situation which truncates any and all meaningful choice to choosing between the lesser of evils. Choosing “evil” is no choice at all but, rather, is a refusal to choose instead. Evil is ultimate unreality. It is the ultimate “cop out” from the truth and what is righteous. Mr. Erlanger’s construct goes as follows, from … “Weighing Crimes & Ethics In The Fog Of Urban Warfare,” NY Times.

“JERUSALEM — Your unit, on the edges of the northern Gaza town of Jabaliya, has taken mortar fire from the crowded refugee camp nearby. You prepare to return fire, and perhaps you notice — or perhaps you don’t, even though it’s on your map — that there is a United Nations school just there, full of displaced Gazans. You know that international law allows you to protect your soldiers and return fire, but also demands that you ensure that there is no excessive harm to civilians. Do you remember all that in the chaos?”

“You pick GPS-guided mortars, which are supposed to be accurate and of a specific explosive force, and fire back. In the end, you kill some Hamas fighters but also, the United Nations says, more than 40 civilians, some of them children.”

“Have you committed a war crime?”

We must, however, be reminded that, as Paul wrote by inspiration of Jehovah’s holy spirit, — “that those who adhere to faith are the ones who are sons of Abraham.” –Galatians 3:7-8–That merely “claiming” or “professing” to be among the sons of Abraham is plainly not enough.

“Neither because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children, but: “What will be called ‘your seed’ will be through Isaac.” That is, the children in the flesh are not really the children of God, but the children by the promise are counted as the seed.” –Romans 9:7-8

This, then, is our true dilemma, because both the Jews and the Palestinians profess to be the sons of Abraham and of God, yet where is this thing called faith inside the horrors of Gaza? One can plainly hear the roar of the glorious Lion of Judah who long ago admonished one party about this issue, saying: “If YOU are Abraham’s children, do the works of Abraham.” –John 8:39. And foremost of those “works” was the very same faith I arise to write about this afternoon, in context of the cruel and vicious bloodspilling by and between the purported sons of Abraham, before the newest pseudo-withdrawal is accomplished and yet another basket of war crimes glossed over by claims of necessity and justice.

  John 8:41 . . .They said to him: “We were not born from fornication; we have one Father, God.”

Israel the nation state and religion persists in professing that they remain in a special and privileged status with the Majestic and Most Holy Father, Jehovah of Armies is His Name. If that were true then it is necessary that they obey the commandments of the Melach a’Mashiach of Jehovah God–who is among other names known as Jesus. I will make that important case soon enough. For now, however, …let us recall that the Jews-of-the-flesh have long contended being in this intimate relationship with Jehovah, this despite the fact that the curtain between the holy and Most Holy compartments was ripped in two upon the crucifixion of Jesus and the miraculous Shekinah has not been seen throughout all of Israel at least since then.

The reasons why have everything to do with what is happening in Gaza and that why is not only instructive, it is breathtaking.

The only ethics that anyone can look to for a guide in all such matters are those found within the Ways of Jehovah. Israel ought not to be a stranger to those ways and yet she persists in her obnoxious wickedness, contrary to all such ways of the very same ‘Father’ they contend to be children of. During the next calendar year I will provide a detailed discussion of conduct by the purported sons of Abraham under the authority of the Greater Abraham–Jehovah God Himself. This ought to suffice irrespective of any self deceptions because the Jews themselves profess to be the children of Jehovah even though by superstition they no longer can bring themselves to declare His glorious and beautiful Name. The Jews by means of their representatives, the Pharisees, told the Messiah long ago that they were the sons of Abraham and that they were the children of Jehovah.

Jesus declared the important rejoinder for all to hear plainly; it split the cedars and it shattered the oaks to hear it and even now it reverberates throughout the world. Listen closely to the Son of the Greater David, my Greatest Hope, who said:

“If God were YOUR Father, YOU would love me, for from God I came forth and am here. Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth. Why is it YOU do not know what I am speaking? Because YOU cannot listen to my word. YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie].. . .” –John 8:42-44

The conduct of both sides in Gaza must be analyzed under the Law of Jehovah for in truth all other sources are ultimately a form of lawlessness, and all other sovereignty is both fleeting and sham.

When I first read what I call the Royal Law, after graduating from law school, I sat and wept at its beauty, at its wisdom, and at the feet of its Author, whom I more closely saw for the very first time in my entire life at that moment. The “personality” of the author of that Law is such that I ran headlong towards Him, breathlessly hoping that I would make it and not fall, and I am running still, as best I can, despite all opposition–from within and from without–because I love the Author of the Royal Law, the Savior of the Small and Helpless, the Provider of all those who are without, the Light for all those in darkness, the healer of all those who suffer, and more … the Protector of the widow and fatherless boy, and oh, my, from the depth of my soul I say these words, oh so very, very much more indeed is Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, my God and my Father, the Great One of Forever.

Those are my only credentials if I am to have any credentials. For if any one of those professing to be God’s sons are in truth God’s sons then they are as my brothers and I am speaking to members of my own family. If not, then I am speaking boldly to imposters!

I will provide an installment each week. And I will do this for a span of one year, making for 52 installments in all. And throughout the entire span of 52 weeks one will not be able to find anywhere in the Law of Jehovah, in his regulations or his judicial decisions or his statutes any such ethical construct that provides for “proportionality” or “discrimination,” of the type proposed by Steven Erlanger, except that there was not to be any “discrimination,” except that which divided everything and everyone away from what God enjoins and towards what God instructs, and no “proportionality,” except that cruelty was enjoined always, in every instance, irrespective of fault, and one had a duty to recognize God in all things because it is by means of His glorious right hand and His Word that all things exist.

The horrors of Gaza will continue until the Holy Father resolves this dispute by means of the execution of His Judgments by His Son, who now rules in the heavens and will soon rule everywhere else and over everyone else because everyone else opposed will, simply stated, no longer exist. The horrors of Gaza, under the light of Jehovah’s judicial decisions, can and will leave us with a clear result as between ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.

Financial Contagion Deepens: U.S. Banks Stuffing Mattress of U.S. Federal Reserve For Endless Cycles Of Financial & Regulatory Incest

This morning I sat back and shivered. 15 degrees is fairly cold and for reasons I as of yet do not fully understand I have had a really hard time getting warm this Winter anyway. I was so cold the other day on the Navajo Reservation that I had to think back a very, very long time to come up with another time wherein I felt so cold. It is nothing of consequence, really. The chill that the worldwide financial contagion has put on credit markets is so permanent in appearance that I scarcely can imagine any meaningful thaw within the next 120 days. The expose’ of a small Michigan bank, Independent, in the New York Times today is instructive. I will turn to that presently.

It is an elementary fact that the United States economy has been and remains utterly dependent upon the flow of credit. American economic activity is invariably a function of debt managment, at every locus of each sector of the economy. States are striving to meet red ink demands, reportedly now turning to gasoline taxation again, while the American consumer has all attention diverted away to other things more pressing than the current price of car and truck fuel. When it rises again–and it will rise again, markedly–it may take a brief bit of catching up, but one full tank will remove the blinders of what has been achieved when nobody was looking. The public will not be amused. I howl at it, really, because any soul with half a pie left between the ears could see it in an instant–this thing is heading down, down, down, and there is no conceivable way to either stop that downward trend or even to meaningfully prepare for it. All you can do is just hold on.

Independent Bank in Michigan got some $75 Million and instead of loaning the money out to grease the gears–what was intended by the bailout in the first place–its officers wrote a check near the same amount back to the Federal Reserve. More … –Ben Bernanke & Co.  just took the money and stuffed it back into the FED mattress. It did nothing of consequence for the economy. If someone wrote me a check for over $70 Million I would know about it. Yet Mr. Bernanke just deposited the check and no questions like–hey, wait a minute, we want this money loaned out? People, it is safe to say at this point that Washington truly has no idea whatever how to prevent what is coming and the rest is mere window dressing.  See …  “In Michigan, Bank Lend Little Of Its Bailout Funds,” NY Times.com.

“As of Tuesday, 257 financial institutions in 42 states had received $192 billion in capital injections from the Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP, out of $250 billion set aside for this purpose. Seven giant banks — like JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup — have received more than 62 percent of the total so far, and have gotten most of the attention.”

AND …

“With no surge in lending taking place right away — and the bank very much looking for a way to improve its own balance sheet — Independent took the $72 million check that arrived from Treasury in mid-December and immediately transferred it to the Federal Reserve to pay down short-term loans it had taken out.”

“This month, the bank is planning to leverage that bailout money to buy about $160 million in mortgage-backed securities from institutions like Fannie Mae, an investment that it hopes will produce enough interest income to pay the dividend it owes the federal government. Again, this will bring little immediate benefit to Michigan businesses and residents. In essence, the $72 million has been stuffed into Treasury’s own mattress.”

Banks are refusing to lend because they believe that the business cycle is not finished sifting out between winners and losers. Yet investment in distressed assets over at Fannie Mae over investment in the very local community Independent purports to serve is ample notice that things are going to get much worse indeed.

Last Days Kings: Pushing & Shoving Over The “Heating Treasure”?

Russia and the United States persist at their masquerade towards one another, smiling in public but one close look  into their eyes reveals an interior hate that borders upon a window into the demonic mind. I for one can scarcely find the ability to look for long.

The latest masquarade through surrogates involves a gas pipeline and, of course, its contents–or lack, thereof–depending upon one’s perspective. The explanation for all of it is openly hinted at by Gazprom’s Deputy Chief Executive, Aleksandr I. Medvedev, about actions taken already last month, when nobody was looking. “Ukraine’s actions seemed to be directed from Washington after the United States and Ukraine signed a partnership agreement in December that included a clause on energy cooperation.”

“The Ukrainians didn’t plan to open the system,” he said. “It looks like they are dancing under the music that is not orchestrated in Ukraine. They are dancing to music orchestrated elsewhere. I am making reference to the agreement between Ukraine and the United States.”

Fear & Not Knowing The Way Out: Officials Worldwide Act In The Increasingly Dense Darkness

In reading about the latest outbreak of “fierce” violence between whom I sometimes refer to as Israel and Ishmael–namely, the modern Jewish state of Israel and the so-called Palestinians–I am disgusted. Perhaps that identification of my contempt for the violence is both inept and imprecise but the other metaphors just do not seem to work well because I would resist the temptation to liken these parties to either cats or dogs and the like. They sure do fight with each other, however. The hatred is both historic and unquenchable. The lust for blood is insatiable on both sides. It will continue yet for a little while longer and then the issue of Universal Sovereignty will be settled decisively by Jehovah of Armies, the Holy One of New Israel. Both sides are destined to know the truth–they are both out~!

I bet that causes some eyes to roll and, in others, a skip of the heart by at least 20 beats per minute, if not more. Let it finish its own work. In the interim, in reading about this latest conflict something stands out more so than ever before. It has always seemed “futile,” to try and broker a peace accord between the relevant parties. I have long been convinced that absent the hate and the lust for wicked murder, on both sides, born out of hate, the relevant parties would truly not know what to do. Indeed, I believe a strong case can be made for the deployment of “agent provacateurs,” or “inciting agents” in French, by both sides upon the establishment of any state of peace. They each wish to utterly slay the other from off planet earth and neither side will care to end the dispute that began it all–jealousy and pride. It is the same everywhere, among all people on earth, because as the Revelation makes clear, Satan the Devil was cast down to the earth and the result is woe to the earth and those who reside upon it, for the Devil has been cast down and he knows his time is short.

I recall the words of the glorious Messiah who once confronted the established religious leaders of his day, saying in essence, if you say you are the sons of Abraham then do the works that Abraham did. None of them do that. Abraham would be disgusted at the whole lot of them, an entire civilzation built around a historic hatred, fanned on by religious zeal, corrupted by all evil.

My very good friend is primarily disgusted with the Jews and their cruelty and their most wicked oppression of the Palestianian people. He is right, of course, and Justice is coming on that score, together with every other score. Whether we have faith or not is soon to be largely irrelevent, because what happens is truth and what is going to happen has long ago been clearly and decisively foretold. The Jews are an amazing example of the lengths to which human pride and jealousy can arise. Their ability for even self deception is shocking to the conscience of all the faithful worldwide. Yet we must await Jehovah’s action by Christ Jesus. We want that more than anything because that and only that will stop the fighting everywhere, all at once, in one big showdown. It is fast arriving from on high and none of those fighting ont he ground are expecting what they have been taught to believe is mere metaphor, as literature and nothing more than that. Surprise! It is real. More real than anything else on planet earth because it is God’s Word. It always achieves that which it was sent forth to achieve. Always. No exceptions.

In the news of the modern mass media the wars in the Middle East occur not in a vaccuum but in a context that other stories help to define. I have made that point repeatedly here on this weblog. In Mexico, for example, we see a fear and efforts to deal with it, and primarily all efforts are predicated upon the growing War on Terror model of the most recent U.S. Administration. Notice this from NY Times, “In Mexico, Curbing Violence Before It Is Learned.”

“The bills face varying probabilities of success and are in some cases dismissed as irrelevant by security experts. But they show the concern, and even desperation, that many politicians feel toward the state of their crime-racked country.”

“The overhaul of Mexico’s judicial system — introducing quicker, oral trials instead of the current trials conducted solely by the exchange of legal documents, and making arrests of organized-crime suspects easier — is considered by experts to be among the most important legislative steps taken recently.”

“Substantive proposals are also under consideration to improve intelligence-sharing among law enforcement agencies and to overhaul the security forces to make them less corrupt.”

The general theme is the same, everywhere, all at once. Notice the reality–that entire governmental systems are widely seen as corrupt. Building in various “procedures,” ultimately to perhaps strive for the truth by means of the so-called “adversarial system,” while the most widely sought aftwer reform for the developing world for many, many years, is now seen as a waste of time. Let us do an oral trial. Here’s the charge. What do you say? Be quick, you have 5 Minutes only for thereafter you are to be tortured and raped and then murdered because we are fearful and because we know not what else to do with those we hate.  Bang! Here’s the Judgment. Drag him away. We have no more time to waste on any of this, on any of these. And the “these” will increasingly look like those the Nuremburg Courts handed out to the Camps, as this world slips farther and farther into the expediency of executive action and the “fog of war” scenarios that are ubuiquitous worldwide.

Pay close attention. This is so very important to all those who remain on their watch.

The world as we know it is sliding into the abyss and it cannot be stopped. The people, generally, are looking in vain to the earthly governments to deliver for them, to save them.

“JOHANNESBURG — Facing a determined challenge from a breakaway faction, the governing African National Congress presented a campaign manifesto on Saturday that advocates a greater government role in generating jobs and major new spending on education, health and antipoverty programs.”

In Ghana– (See: “Ghana’s Unlikely Democrat …,” NY Times.com)

“Africa’s vast stage has seen many complex players, but few match the contradictions of Mr. Rawlings, the ruthless military man who seized power at the age of 31 and then oversaw the summary executions of his rivals, only to later usher in a new era of prosperity and democracy.”

“Mr. Rawlings, 61, was an unlikely savior for a country that from its founding represented Africa’s brightest hopes, but that in its disappointment of those hopes became emblematic of a continent’s malaise.”

Everywhere they are looking for that “savior” to deliver the world from its various descriptions–including such blande falsities as malaise. It sounds like a spilled blob of mayonaise on the counter top, not any meaningful description of a nation’s condition.

Violence and unbridled wickedness is increasingly rampant worldwide. In Mexico, again, the reality is kidnappings are as rampant as murderous roving dogs, salivating evil pus of greed and demonic evil. Nobody can stop them because nobody knows how. They are too busy on their own greed and its expression in a world comprised almost entirely of greed and avarice and pride and vanity and jealousies and … and …it does not end. The entire listing at 2 Timothy 3:105 is rampant worldwide.

My last foray into Mexico was during my law school days in 1995 and that ended it for life, this side of Armageddon anyway.

In Asia the wars persist. The economies of the world continue to spiral out of control. In China … try this one out for size …as someone tries to stand int he way of unbridled greed run riot:

“A Shanghai woman who had traveled to Beijing to protest home evictions for real estate developments was detained and beaten by the authorities, a human rights group said Friday. The woman, Cao Yibao, was beaten so badly that she received multiple fractures to bones in her face, according to the group, China Human Rights Defenders. Ms. Cao and other members of a group from Shanghai, who were also protesting the loss of their homes, were detained in Beijing last month and handed over to Shanghai security personnel members, who beat her, the group said.”

Worldwide. You will increasingly notice that entire institutions are failing, everywhere, and all at once. This has happened before, yes. But not everywhere all at once and in the same general patterns. This is truly historic.

Let us recall the admonition that when we see these things beginning to occur, let us lift ourselves erect for our deliverance draws near. It is near, at the gates. The world will soon be ungovernable. Then it all winds up into that final fireball called the End.

May Jehovah glorify and sanctify His Most Holy Name. May His Messiah, Jesus, ride triumphant against all evil. Let us pray, “let your Kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” For that to happen it is a real government that must arrive worldwide, even with spiritual swords. It could not be more obvious what is coming. The only question I have is: Why isn’t the entire world press asking about it? The reason why is because they have been, as scriptures have made clear, given up to a diseased mental state, because they loved the lie and did not want the truth.
