Russia and the United States persist at their masquerade towards one another, smiling in public but one close look into their eyes reveals an interior hate that borders upon a window into the demonic mind. I for one can scarcely find the ability to look for long.
The latest masquarade through surrogates involves a gas pipeline and, of course, its contents–or lack, thereof–depending upon one’s perspective. The explanation for all of it is openly hinted at by Gazprom’s Deputy Chief Executive, Aleksandr I. Medvedev, about actions taken already last month, when nobody was looking. “Ukraine’s actions seemed to be directed from Washington after the United States and Ukraine signed a partnership agreement in December that included a clause on energy cooperation.”
“The Ukrainians didn’t plan to open the system,” he said. “It looks like they are dancing under the music that is not orchestrated in Ukraine. They are dancing to music orchestrated elsewhere. I am making reference to the agreement between Ukraine and the United States.”
