A Few Words About Bank Of America, Two-Sawme’s, Earthquakes, & My Old Friend “J”

I felt unusually recollected this morning, the oils flowing and the quill well lubricated. Things are happening out there, sometimes so fast it is nearly impossible to get to it all, as we slog through respective professions and occupations and vocations and the like. In America, you know, a person is equated with what he does–nay, he IS what he does! Thus why so much fanfare of self- promotion and extravagence even at the most shameless self-aggrandizement.

Before I get too far down the road I aim to say a word or two more about Kenneth Lewis and Bank Of America. It is inexcusable that this man will parachute out of Bank America with some $150 Million in gilded edged account books to record all his loot while the United States taxpayers–better explained as “America’s poor,” had to bail out his bank. I’ll never forget as I sat nearly spellbound, as LEHMAN BROTHERS HOLDINGS fought for its survival, and he turned a wickedly blind eye, while he coveted Merrill Lynch. LEHMAN deserved a bailout just as much as AIG or any other irresponsible financial institution, whose march had been quickened with greed and avarice, beginning in the 1990’s. I would have canned him when he walked in with Merrill Lynch and I surely would have canned him when the Old Rotten Bull of Greed ran up some $15 Billion in losses its first Quarter under the BofA Family Banner. I would have docked his pay, too, and taken my chances with a jury of angry taxpayers when he wanted to sue to enforce his contracts. No man today is properly, reasonably, or even morally able to declare himself worthy of hundreds of millions of dollars in an industry that is so enfeebled it is unable to stand on its own, without federal taxpayer milk and other financial intermediary babyfood, and could utterly collapse tomorrow!

I’ve written previously about Bank of America, while it was infused with taxpayer money its branch vice presidents were authorized  and/or encouraged to “churn” for abusive checking account fees. Here’s how it worked, among other similar schemes. You have Account A and B, the first Jointly held between parties A & B, the latter solely held by B. B makes a $9.21 error and goes over on four small purchases that are just under $9.21 in the aggregate. Inside of this is a shifting month-end date for accounts and Bank of America’s branches initiated an “early closing” on specified accounts., and those are defined as those ripe for churning, as in our scenario A&B. This put a service charge through on the 15th, of the month, say, rather than the 21st, as has been the practice. Now you see it clearly, $32.00 per item, includinng the service charge imposed early and then punished. Account B is upside down by over $150.00 for under $9.00 in error–two rolls of Neccco wafers, a cup of coffee and a small anti-perspirant.

To resolve it, Bank of America takes all the money to satisfy it from Account A, because its joint in legality, and it doubles its take because it turns Account A upside down by over $200.00, by its own actions. Thus the Bank generates nearly $500.00 in fees of punishment, for less than a $9.00 error, while it takes federal bailout money. This is a ravenous and voracious beast and it is precise;ly the beast that Bank of America built. I am going to make a prediction:

Bank of America will be brought to utter financial ruination within 10 years. It is just that it happen and I will rejoice when it does. I truly hope it happens sooner rather than later.

In the interim, it will strive to claw and rip at any blood it can drink and any flesh it can gulp down its monsterous maw, as it fights to maintain its survival. It never, ever saw any relationship between itself and the ancient Tower of Babel, its skyscrapers into the heavens and its desire to make a celebrated name for itself is not something Bank of America officers or directors equated with the worship of something that ought never to be worshipped–MONEY. And along with it greed and every wicked thing under heaven. Less than 10 years. I pray for it earnestly. People just do not see how this is related to spiritual matters. One day they will–they ALL will.

This morning my wife warned me about the Two Sawme’s and while she is so cute for saying it that way she was truly troubled about the enormous loss of life and the extreme hardship now being faced by people in Indonesia near Sumatra. Bloomberg.com is reporting with experts that the Mentawai patch is quite possibly going to light off numerous hard-hitting temblors, even in the immediate future and the Tsunami festival this could bring is horrific. While this is ongoing, typhoons are ravaging the Phillipines, with TS Ondoy (Ketsana) hitting first and a possible super typhoon Peping that may hit as early as this weekend.

What astounds me as natural fires burn and earthquakes hit and typhoons (Hurricanes) get larger and more powerful, as entire financial and economic and even whole political systems sit on the crevice of the abyss, people simply walk around as though this is either meaningless–aside from the individual events of their lives-of buying and selling and of marrying and being given in marriage–or that it is simply something else for government to manage and for the poor to somehow endure as best they can. Bank of america can lose hundreds of billions and get bailed out but  disabled person in America could no more get actual relief for student loans he cannot repay, and other equitble considerations that properly portray the American government as the wicked entity it is.

Just the other day I saw the total disintegration of a professional relationship that I thought was important to both people involved, not just one. Boy was I wrong! Greed–and there really isn’t a better word for it than that–the other side consumed all the cream and when it was gone went into a wrath that was truly off-the-charts. My so-called “friend”–”J”–always had this indifference about him that troubled me but I tried to push through, to seek peace and to pursue it. At the outset I had observed a physical therapist I know walk away from him in abject disgust, and I asked about it and wondered about it even then. I saw it come full circle. All it takes is time for any narcissist to finally reveal himself. Narcissists are emotional vampires. They actually feed upon the strife they build. They  have to do that, it’s like air they breathe.

I brought this fellow over  $77,000.00 hard money into his practice, between October of last year and September of this year. More– worked for him for free, 300 hours. When he ordered the wrong size pylon for a new C-Leg, I was expected to adjust my expectations and let him jury rig it by lengthening the socket post instead. Doing it right would have cost “J” money on his supply budget and his Supply Budget is related to his Bonus incentive program.

I can read a map as to what happened. I can add up the component parts.

J–all on his own, without my understanding or prior consent–ordered and billed insurance for a suction system for an AK socket. It’s never been done before by anyone that I am aware of and I have it on solid authority that current technology is such that it can’t be done for an AK case. He built it too small and his backup plan is to try and cram it all in and make it stick. It didn’t. Now, meanwhile–he got paid for the whole enchilada that did NOT WORK. Several thousand dollars to be exact. Now its time to build a socket that will work. It becamse clear that “J” was sorely distracted: He called me in for something that didn’t need to be done because we had an appointment and he hadn’t got to the hard work of the case–fabrication. It’s messy and hard work, plaster, to take a negative model and transform it into a positive model. And then it ccurred to me: “J” skipped casting! When I worked for him he said you never, ever skip casting, and you don’t use fiberglass, you do it the old fashioned way, you use plaster.

He went back numerous generations for a model to use in my case and this was his first error of magnitude, including by his own standards. Its easy to lecture them as required for others and quite another to hold yourself to those same standards. That creates liability under products liability for my fall! It is what’s known as a Manufacturing Defect and when a manufacturer fails to follow his own standards and the defect causes precisely the type of injury such standards would protect against, strict liability in tort is properly imposed in a majority of jurisdictions, incluidng the one we live in.

He  made it too tight and he made it too long. The first ones looked like a tube. It was truly unnerving, we’re getting nowhere, this guy is usually a very good prosthetist, and he’s just not performing anymore at all. I told him repeatedly–it is too tight. So from positive model to test socket “J” is just NOT paying attention. He wants it to work without his effort. He’s been overpaid and he wants it done so he can have his unjust profit. He wanted me to be able to order it off a shelf, make it easy for “J”, he had totally lost his edge as to making it work well for the patient, fairly or reasonably. This patient is 6′2″ and he’s got less than 4″ left to hold it on with. The Rule is simple–YOU HAVE TO GRAB EVERYTHING~!

He got me barely in this thing. I agreed to try it, but said it was too tight, too small, and was very concerned. He chopped the socket on th emedial side to “force” me into it farther, an odd thing to do if indeed the socket wasn’t too tight to begin with? It was so tight on tendons going in I couldn’t wear the set of “J Jaws” unless he did relieve the medial side. I told him open it up a little, get me deep into it and have pressure high up on the stump, not just on the distal end mostly, and to have me solidly on my ischeal tuberosity and not my remus. Simple Rx for those who know what this is all about. I’ve been fitting these things for nearly 40 years. I’ve learned something along the way too.

So now I fall and nearly fracture my hip at 53, and he knows–he sees it coming–he’s going to have to make a whole new socket, that he built this one wrong–because he was distracted, perhaps he had lost motivation due to issues with upper mananagement, maybe its just that he got paid already and he wantred the job done, I don’t know–and he goes ballistic on the phone!  Nobody knows more than “J”. Not my orthopedic surgeon, not the ER doctor, not my own sympoms–nothing mattered; he had decided the socket he made was all he was going to make for me, that his Supply Budget didn’t allow otherwise, irrespective of what my insurance companies paid into that budget for what I never even got, his errors notwithstanding, and he set about with a hard headed and shameless diatribe about his expertise and the literature and what we didn’t know and the likes, to cover over the real issue–his supply budget is upside down and that’s money out of his Bonus Pocket. he has very big pockets, because what “J” considers he’s worth would stagger your mind–and he’s more likely than not just been told in the most disfoavorable terms that his Supplies Budget is South and it is going to cost him this year.

It’s simple. He made a socket too small and because for whatever reason –i.e., –he was not paying attention and he wasn’t motivated any longer. I had run over $77,000.00 into his business and from my end that was going to be it for a while, maybe that’s it with the Calculus of J! In any event, now that he had been paid for what I did not get and no one had ever delivered, he wasn’t going to deliver me a quality socket, he was , instead, going to cram his negligence and sloppy work literally up my arse, make it my fault, adding insult to actual injury, saying--”you’ll be wearing pads”! In lieu of doing solid work he superimposed his unquestioned superior knowledge instead, all turned outward to abuse and disenfranchise and to prpotect J’s interests–no matter how debased or how unjust they had become! Would you tell a lawyer that after he brought you nearly $80,000.00 and worked for you for free in your shop doing grunt work for 300 hours? Only arrogance produces an ability to do something like this, the worst kind of arrogance, the kind that feels entitled to superiority becuse it has concluded it is superior.

You know what I would have done instead? I would have apologized for messing things up! “You’ve done a lot for me,” I would have told him, and “I’m absolutely going to make this right for you and I’m going to do it as quickly as humanly possible.” I would have cared. And I would have started right, casted him, and I would have built him the best socket of my life, as quickly as I could, making it a very, very high priority. I would have worked weekends for a guy like that! That’s what you do for people who do for you what I did for him and never asked him for anything inside of it.

My so-called “Friend–’J'”–Spirit of this World, and he doesn’t understand it, his own arrogance blinds him to it in himself, just as mine used to blind me to it in myself. I saw the old me in him, what I used to be. Inside my hurt I got to see how far I had come–where now I was giving in truth and not taking. I got to see what Paul meant when he wrote Ephesians chapter 2 by inspiration:

EPHESIANS 2:1-7

“Furthermore, [it is] YOU [God made alive] though YOU were dead in YOUR trespasses and sins, ² in which YOU at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience. ³ Yes, among them we all at one time conducted ourselves in harmony with the desires of our flesh, doing the things willed by the flesh and the thoughts, and we were naturally children of wrath even as the rest. ⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, ⁵ made us alive together with the Christ, even when we were dead in trespasses—by undeserved kindness YOU have been saved— ⁶ and he raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenly places in union with Christ Jesus, ⁷ that in the coming systems of things there might be demonstrated the surpassing riches of his undeserved kindness in his graciousness toward us in union with Christ Jesus.”

I understood “J”s wrath on the phone, why he was so ready for war, for battle, come what may, because nobody tells him anything, nobody is permitted that option, to reprove or counsel or disciplne His Majesty “J”. He dictates terms of life for all others. I finally came to understand that this whole thing was more likely than not related to J’s inability to even obey his own superiors in what “J” had concluded was wrongly decided or unjustly enacted. He wanted a bonus and through no fault of mine he got clipped in that somehow, and he set about punishing others for his own misconduct and/or his own actions or mis-actions as a Practice Manager. He should be taking this up with his superiors and not his patients! And the fact remains that he did take it up with his patients, those he hurt–physically and otherwise–to boot.

I learned something precious about the difference of Christ–humility, and his chief adversary–Satan–Arrogance and Pride. I’m hurt. Bad. I’ve really been taken for a ride by someone I genuinely believe is a Malignant Narcissist. I will not ever be back because no matter how well he could serve me in the future I have been spit upon as I served another, unselfishly, with good will and cheer, and while I forgive for that, I won’t position myself in for another round of His majesty’s Royal Abuse! Apologies go many, many miles but arrogance sits raring the RPM’s, wasting gasoline and getting nobody anywhere! One thing everyone needs to know about the Narcissist–make that TWO THINGS–(1) he never, ever gets better, and (2) He must be avoided at ALL COST.

He told me to tell people the truth in writing. I did. I could tell it with the factual detail of a federal indictment and sometimes I reason to myself I ought to just do it and make that point. It  might help him regain himself before it’s too late. “J” got me seriously hurt, he was paid well over and above what he actually provided, and he insulted that by layers over the injury he himself caused. He should be held accountable for serious misconduct towards patients as well!

If he worked for me I would terminate his employment in a red hot second. He is clearly unhappy where he is and he ought not to be deprived of finding true happiness elsewhere. I’m taking my cream and good will down the road like I should have done last year. I gave it a chance when I took it back from Phoenix. I did all the giving. That was a very bad lesson to teach a Narcissist and I strongly believe he needs to learn another one ASAP–it’s called HUMILITY. His ego has very, very bad eyesight. Nobody else’s sight is permitted to substitute for his. The only person in the universe that is so totally like that is Satan himself. Like John wrote:

“. . .The children of God and the children of the Devil are evident by this fact: Everyone who does not carry on righteousness does not originate with God, neither does he who does not love his brother.”

Mary Travers: Peter, Paul & Mary

Robin Williams once accurately quipped that if you remember the 60’s–you weren’t there. Erratic, sultry, heated, even confusing were the times then. It is a theme I have written much on and more seems to flow from my pen as I contemplate the death of Mary Travers this morning. She was a real artist. When I was so impressionable she sang and my heart and soul heard. Even now, as I labor at becoming a legitimate guitar player in my own right, chief among my developing songlist are songs by her, by Peter, Paul, and Mary Travers. I didn’t know her but I identified with her. Greenwich Village, coffeehouses, the folk revival of the 1960’s. I was there. I called Coy Lowe and asked him for cords to songs after visiting the head shops, smelling the incense, and seeing the black light posters and “gear” of the times. I haven’t seen or heard from Coy Lowe in some 35 years or so. I doubt I will ever speak with him again. Maybe …. He was there too.

Those times were haunting really. Grace Slick speaks about it as chasing ghosts and, of course, this is so insofar as catching any of them is impossible. They are faint images and feelings,a glow or an impulse, and a glimmer–and then its gone in a wisp of time, forever swirling as a memory attached to a feeling. We were wrong then and history has proved it. But what we wanted then was just and true and while not in every instance we desired justice and truth and righteousness. Druggery was clearly not the way to get there for that is a pact with the Devil. Everyone who was “there” has learned that or they’re likely dead by now.

Mary Travers was 72. I wished she could have stayed with us as the Greenwich Villager she was even forever. Psalm 37:29 promises that one day this will come true. In the interim, we die. Folk Music has lost a genuine artist. The music of Mary Travers will take on even an increased urgency with me for the rest of mine.

I pray her family finds comfort in these difficult times.

A Few Words About WHERE WE NOW ARE~

I have been indisposed, from health care issues to studying new and old  characters and places surrounding colonial Americana–such as John Adams–and I saw that Teddy Kennedy died. I miss most news each day and only glance at it in brief intervals anymore–the propaganda is otherwise too much to stomach, it’s a steady diet of worms for the brain and moths for the heart. I have no illusions that Satan will make his last great stand of rebellion against God and against all that is good by means of his last world power. (I know that remark makes people so very, very mad to hear, primarily because (1) they don’t understand it and (2) they don’t believe it even if they do.) Let me remind my readers of how the Great Lion of Judah put it himself, no need to believe me on anything, in his conversation with that one long ago and recorded aforetime for our instruction today. (Romans 15:4)

(Luke 4:5-8) “So he brought him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time; and the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and to whomever I wish I give it. You, therefore, if you do an act of worship before me, it will all be yours.” In reply Jesus said to him: “It is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

No disputing as to the claim. Indeed, he validated elsewhere, and we who trust and know the scriptures to be what they are, made by God and not man, know who the ruler of this present world is. (John 14:30)

So I do not get into politics anymore. But Edward Kennedy seemed different to me over the years, different primarily because of what it was that seemed to matter to him the most, what he worked hardest to change. I wish his family well in this difficult time, for at long last they no longer heard those last days taunts–”I’m still here”!

We are still here, the rest of us, and where is it that we find ourselves? Near the end~! If we could look ahead and know we would be utterly overrun with anxiety! We would be confounded in our beliefs and we would run here and there in search of either validation or refutation, as if we had any say, as if, truly, in the final analysis, we would truly want any say. Government~! Hah~! Since the very first election in America it has been sinister intrigue and duplicity. (If anything Benjamin Rush mentioned about this has any truth to it anyway.)

I have an affinity to the Edward Kennedy family for reasons I don’t usually mention out loud but many years ago I had my left leg removed for the same reason Edward, Jr. had his right leg removed, and we both wound up in law school. The difference, primarily, was about social status and for those who hear me complaining they miss my point entirely because I am the one that made out better, I think, by not practicing the law with my J.D. and pursuing something and someone infinitely greater and better by far, and I do not mean that as a slight. Edward, Jr. and I also saw doctors at the same speciality group in Los Angeles, at about the same times. I never met him. I always wanted to. I knew of him. He never knew of me. We would have made a great trial team for the disabled in America.

In any event, this morning I guess I wanted to say a bit about the Old Lion of the liberal causes, Edward Kennedy. He cared about much of what was most important, human suffering, and did what he could as best as he knew how to do it. It was stacked at impossibility from the beginning because mankind is truly not meant to direct his own step. Self-government is about the rebellion that began in Eden, its father is nobody to get misty eyed about. The truth will set anyone free if they truly desire it. Most do not. (1 Timothy 6:3-5; Romans 1:28-32; John 8:32)

I hope his family finds much comfort among themselves as they bear up under this truly heavy loss, of one of the last family patriarchs in Americana. So much is coming to an end all around us and it is a hopeful reality because of what is about to be ushered in.

A Few Words Re The Roman Catholic Church: Is Benedict Faithful To Divine Scripture?

I read the letter from Roman Catholic Pope Benedict XVI to the Bishops throughout the world. It is an astounding example of how the traditions of men have supplanted the very Word of God that is and remains the very truth that sets anyone free. One must acknowledge a profound sadness at the very basic failures of a man who asserts that he  is truly a theologian. Let us take one small but readily clear example for illustration. Benedict XVI declares in his solemn letter:

“Mary teaches us trust. She leads us to her Son, in whom all of us can put our trust. He will be our guide even in turbulent times.”

The Word himself tells us plainly and unambiguously that this simply cannot be so for the faithful of the true congregation of God have long understood this basic truth, that it is the Holy Father Himself, Jehovah, who leads any person to Jesus Christ, His Son.

(John 6:44) . . .No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him;. . .

(John 6:37-38) . . .Everything the Father gives me will come to me, and the one that comes to me I will by no means drive away; 38 because I have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me.

Mary draws nobody to Christ. There is plainly no scriptural support for the apostasy that Mary leads anyone to Christ Jesus and more importantly it overlooks in its entirety the many relevant prophecies that gain fulfillment in Jehovah’s own works as the Majestic Shepherd of Ezekiel’s prophecy against the typical false shepherds of Israel:

(Ezekiel 34:11-14) . . .“‘For this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: “Here I am, I myself, and I will search for my sheep and care for them. 12 According to the care of one feeding his drove in the day of his coming to be in the midst of his sheep that have been spread abroad, that is the way that I shall care for my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all the places to which they have been scattered in the day of clouds and thick gloom. 13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and collect them together from the lands and bring them in onto their soil and feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streambeds and by all the dwelling places of the land. 14 In a good pasturage I shall feed them, and on Israel’s high mountains their abiding place will come to be. There they will lie down in a good abiding place, and on a fat pasturage they will feed upon the mountains of Israel.”

(Ezekiel 34:23-24) . . .And I will raise up over them one shepherd, and he must feed them, even my servant David. He himself will feed them, and he himself will become their shepherd. 24 And I myself, Jehovah, will become their God, and my servant David a chieftain in the midst of them. I myself, Jehovah, have spoken.

These things are not merely a difference of opinion without consequence for if one is not among the flock of Jehovah’s sheep, they are not being fed and cared for and delivered, nor have they as of yet been brought out or collected and they do not as of yet lay down in a good abiding place and they do not as of yet eat the spiritual food that is the fat pasturage upon the mountains of spiritual Israel, but they, as of yet, remain where they were scattered in a day of thick cloud and gloom. Is it any wonder, then, that Benedict XVI is utterly oblivious to the nearness of the end, for he is himself revealed as among the very shepherds Jehovah spoke about prophetically by means of Ezekiel:

(Ezekiel 34:10) . . .This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, ‘Here I am against the shepherds, and I shall certainly ask back my sheep from their hand and make them cease from feeding [my] sheep, and the shepherds will no longer feed themselves; and I will deliver my sheep out of their mouth, and they will not become food for them.’”

As I read Benedict’s letter I was reminded of Jesus’ clear rebuke to the Pharisee wherever he may be found:

(Mark 7:1-8) . . .Now the Pharisees and some of the scribes that had come from Jerusalem gathered about him. ² And when they saw some of his disciples eat their meal with defiled hands, that is, unwashed ones— ³ for the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands up to the elbow, holding fast the tradition of the men of former times, ⁴ and, when back from market, they do not eat unless they cleanse themselves by sprinkling; and there are many other traditions that they have received to hold fast, baptisms of cups and pitchers and copper vessels;— ⁵ so these Pharisees and scribes asked him: “Why is it your disciples do not conduct themselves according to the tradition of the men of former times, but they take their meal with defiled hands?” ⁶ He said to them: “Isaiah aptly prophesied about YOU hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honor me with [their] lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. ⁷ It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach as doctrines commands of men.’ ⁸ Letting go the commandment of God, YOU hold fast the tradition of men.”

 

Benedict holds fast to the traditions of men. His letter fairly read is all about such traditions and only in passing are the scriptures mentioned–Matthew’s Gospel re the requirement to go to one’s brother if he has sinned; –a brief passage in Galatians, of which he purports to be an apologetic to Paul; and to a few passages of the Gospel re Peter and the Catholic Church’s persistent failure to understand what Jesus meant when he pointed to himself and NOT PETER,declaring “upon this rock-mass I will build my congregation.” (Psalm 118:22; Matthew 21:42-44; Ephesians 2:19-20); and an application as made primarily to himself, when in fact it is intended to be for every Christian, to be prepared to make a defense of the faith to anyone (2 Peter 3:15)

Indeed, Benedict himself asserts it plainly, saying:

“This will make it clear that the problems now to be addressed are essentially doctrinal in nature and concern primarily the acceptance of the Second Vatican Council and the post-conciliar magisterium of the Popes.”

And what does the scriptures say about the Law and the Testimony–those who do not adhere to it but stray in such traditional ways? In among other places it is made clear who calls and who leads anyone to Christ and that this is in and of itself an imprimitur of a true calling, that you do find yourself with Christ and the good news:

(Galatians 1:6-9) ⁶ I marvel that YOU are being so quickly removed from the One who called YOU with Christ’s undeserved kindness over to another sort of good news. ⁷ But it is not another; only there are certain ones who are causing YOU trouble and wanting to pervert the good news about the Christ. ⁸ However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to YOU as good news something beyond what we declared to YOU as good news, let him be accursed. ⁹ As we have said above, I also now say again, Whoever it is that is declaring to YOU as good news something beyond what YOU accepted, let him be accursed.

Let everyone in the Catholic Church hear plainly the Word of God by means of Isaiah the prophet, who declares plainly what they must do if they are to eat on the fat pasture and find themselves in Jehovah’s flock:

(Isaiah 1:18-20) . . .”Come, now, YOU people, and let us set matters straight between us,” says Jehovah. “Though the sins of YOU people should prove to be as scarlet, they will be made white just like snow; though they should be red like crimson cloth, they will become even like wool. ¹⁹ If YOU people show willingness and do listen, the good of the land YOU will eat. ²⁰ But if YOU people refuse and are actually rebellious, with a sword YOU will be eaten up; for the very mouth of Jehovah has spoken [it].”

So many times I have heard it said–”But those passages were directed at ancient Israel and have no application to modern people”–that what we are to listen to and how is removed from us. Let us recall that if a person is not applying it to him or herself who precisely is it to be applied to except those who ultimately become Jehovah’s sheep. That’s the point exactly, for if we “listen”–saying this is speaking to me and I am going to apply it to myself, to enter into it, to believe–what do these “willing” people enjoy? The very forgiveness of sins that is the good news about Christ Jesus AND MORE!  These ones will eat the good of the land, something that at least includes the spiritual provisions of the Faithful Steward. (Luke 12:42-43)

What is required? RUN! Get out of her? Of whom do I speak? If Benedict is to faithfully “[Lead] men and women to God, to the God who speaks in the Bible: [as] the supreme and fundamental priority of the Church and of the Successor of Peter at the present time,” how can he deviate from that very inspired Word and yet remain faithful to God? Simply stated, he cannot. (e.g., see 2 Timothy 3:16)

The Great Harlot that Benedict himself describes unknowingly when he asks rhetorically in his letter:

“But should not the great Church also allow herself to be generous in the knowledge of her great breadth, in the knowledge of the promise made to her?”

What is THAT PROMISE?

Here it is!

(Isaiah 47:8-15) . . .”And now hear this, you pleasure-given [woman], the one sitting in security, the one saying in her heart: “I am, and there is nobody else. I shall not sit as a widow, and I shall not know the loss of children.” ⁹ But to you these two things will come suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. In their complete measure they must come upon you, for the abundance of your sorceries, for the full might of your spells—exceedingly. ¹⁰ And you kept trusting in your badness. You have said: “There is no one seeing me.” Your wisdom and your knowledge—this is what has led you away; and you keep saying in your heart: “I am, and there is nobody else.” ¹¹ And upon you calamity must come; you will know no charming against it. And upon you adversity will fall; you will not be able to avert it. And upon you there will suddenly come a ruin that you are not accustomed to know. ¹² Stand still, now, with your spells and with the abundance of your sorceries, in which you have toiled from your youth; that perhaps you might be able to benefit, that perhaps you might strike people with awe. ¹³ You have grown weary with the multitude of your counselors. Let them stand up, now, and save you, the worshipers of the heavens, the lookers at the stars, those giving out knowledge at the new moons concerning the things that will come upon you. ¹⁴ Look! They have become like stubble. A fire itself will certainly burn them up. They will not deliver their soul from the power of the flame. There will be no glow of charcoals for people to warm themselves, no firelight in front of which to sit down. ¹⁵ Thus they will certainly become to you, with whom you have toiled as your charmers from your youth. They will actually wander, each one to his own region. There will be no one to save you.”

The Economy Is Congealing Like Jell-O In The Last Hours–In The Cold Dark–Of Mankind’s Zenith …

… And I am telling it outright, the Lion of Judah is near at the gates, for how else could His Majesty’s “parousia” be made even more clear to hearts that simply do not want the truth, who simply wish to be left to live as they desire, with little or less in their way? Every time I read the propaganda originating from the mass media echo chamber of the historic Southern Kingdom I am almost to the point of shouting it out from the rooftops. The words–and their emotional context–from the top echelons of Satan’s visible earthly organization is in increasingly urgent contexts; what is more, it is what is seemingly a script written by the ancient prophets of Israel. The economy, meanwhile, is in truth congealing like Jell-O in the deep cold, and the darkness which precludes clear sight by the majority of mankind, who have found themselves at the end times exactly as Jesus warned he would find them:

(Luke 12:35-40) . . .”Let YOUR loins be girded and YOUR lamps be burning,  and YOU yourselves be like men waiting for their master when he returns from the marriage, so that at his arriving and knocking they may at once open to him. Happy are those slaves whom the master on arriving finds watching! Truly I say to YOU, He will gird himself and make them recline at the table and will come alongside and minister to them. And if he arrives in the second watch, even if in the third, and finds them thus, happy are they! But know this, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief would come, he would have kept watching and not have let his house be broken into. YOU also, keep ready, because at an hour that YOU do not think likely the Son of man is coming.”

Clearly the issue is a lack of belief, not just a lack of faith. At least those who desire to believe “can” come to believe just as soon as they realize that it is faith that leads them to ask Jehovah for the light to really see in these dark and increasingly critical times we find ourselves. The mass media is in such a state of confused flux that one can watch the headlines change at the New York Times, for the same stories. This morning, for example, the Front Page story about Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s approach to the circumstances surrounding the latest economic recovery plan originally expressed that he, the Treasury Secretary of the federal government, had lost faith in the banking system. Did you hear that? Now the headline has been refashioned to say that the American people have lost faith in the leaders of the nation’s financial system. His job is to restore that confidence, along with the greater task–restoring the economy itself. When I saw this I rubbed my eyes and no denials as ‘cover’ will alter my testimony on this issue.

I caught the difference in the headline in between first tea and leaving for the day and arriving for a closer look. The full context of the story itself likewise appears to have been ”tweaked.” I am assuming someone got a telephone call from someone high up in the Obama Administration and this particular statue was refashioned before the clay hardened for the day, and some new clay was added as well. In response to this shifting presentation of factual uncertainties, “Geithner Details New Bank Rescue Plan,” NY Times.

 

 

 

 

 

“The announcement of the Treasury and Fed plans was met with a negative reaction on Wall Street. At noon, less than an hour after Mr. Geithner spoke, the Dow Jones industrial average was down 285 points, or 3.5 percent, after more modest losses in early trading.”

The propaganda machinery was concerned about “causing” more downturn in “confidence,” and went from a story that correctly portrayed national banks as being given a windfall of taxpayer dollars, which they unethically used to buy other banks and perform balance sheet functions without regard to restoring new lending, as expressly desired by the federal government, to a story that portrays those things as a “viewpoint” of the American people, one that was, perhaps, only partially true. The major minds of the New York Stock Exchange no doubt sees the difference between the stories and, while I am unable to quantify the precise changes in story text, it is a curious oddity at best to see such a headline–which historically and by journalistic convention strives to distill the story into a headline that grabs and holds the reader–transform in such a small measure of time. I am saying the headline changed, absolutely, what I believe I saw as a story also changed, and in between I am quite suspicious that someone called the New York Times publisher and gained a favor, for the sake of the economy and a new administration.

Edmund L. Andrews and Stephen Labatan would hold the keys to unlock this little tidbit and one would no doubt wonder what was in their hearts.

Nonetheless, the economy is congealing. Barack Obama meets in a region with unemployment listed at nearly 16%–the very same kind of “double digit” inflation that typically accompanies “depressions.” I did say the “D” word intentionally, didn’t I? National Public Radio had a bit of talk on that very issue yesterday and as the days move forward one will begin to hear it more and more and more, until it is unavoidable in the collective psyche of the American people. Every effort to make things look as though they could get decidedly worse and that things are still capable of salvation, with the right mix of political wisdom and consumer and investor confidences. This will continue until doing so any longer is plainly futile and the speakers of such nonsense are held as either purposefully lying or worse by a majority of those whose voices matter to the political harlot that governs over the coming catastrophe.

At least we know this much–the mass media echo chamber is unsure of what to say and that many believe that what is said has a hugely untold importance, in terms of societal confidence–in government and in any potential turnaround. We know, at least for now, that many in the higher echelons of power believe that much of the “problem” is in what the American people “believe.” I never thought that day would ever come, that what one believed was more important to governing that what conditions actually were. The whole nightmare is an illusion and if you watch it closely enough it does a sleight-of-hand right before your very eyes. for the future it will be very important to save actual text and attach time stamps to that text and the movement, in terms of substance and its face, of the story will itself start becoming he story of the day. The reason why this is so is b ecause the media truly does not know what to say. Everything looks like the American economy is a freight train that is heading for a giant wreck. The media “feels it” and knows it is so, and yet to say it will incite to panic and despair, both of which are deadly and worse to the very delicate hope that remains in the midst of the American people.

At the gates  is the “thief in the night,” and our deliverance has drawn near. What we are seeing is the beginnings of the “crushing” that was long ago foretold  by the prophet Daniel. (2:44) Wow! These are truly exciting times indeed. Now watch all the layoffs continue, and with it the rising tsunami of defaults that are coming, and with it bank failures by thre bushel basket.

If one did not know any better they could and would necessarily conclude that a “thief” was systematically plundering the economy. I am smiling so broadly right now I am fearful my face might crack. The Great Day is hurrying up very much indeed.

 

 

Musings Of A Reluctant Blogger: Neutrality & The Spirit Of This World

In my  recent post about Tom Daschle and his mentee, Barack Obama, I believe I walked too far again and crossed a vital boundary, one I have spoken about and agonized over before–indeed, many times before now. I have, accordingly, deleted that post.

I wrote the post not to shape opinion or viewpoints about a purely political matter. From what I understand from the mass media, bloggers nationwide  sort of “went off” on Barack Obama regarding the Tom Daschle appointment and thus mine seemed to fit in nicely with a large wave of commentary, all calling the President on this most smelly appointment. Obviously, it–meaning the total aggregate of comment–had bearing on someone, somewhere, because Tom Daschle pulled over and got out of the car before it arrived at The Destination–the cabinet-level post at the Department of Health & Human Services. And when he got out of the car a stench followed closely behind, as if chasing him out of the Cadillac limousine. To the extent my post “fit in nicely” with a wave of such posts, I have erred greatly and, perhaps, have   written even by inspiration (albeit unknowingly and unwillingly) by the spirit of this world. If I have done that, I am both grieved and dissappointed in myself because that is to be disloyal to Jehovah, the Holy One of the New Israel.

Briefly, I wanted to point to the obvious lies of human political rulers and then say that we can always expect those lies because the reality is this: Satan’s kingdoms on earth are all earthly governmental powers and Satan is the father of the lie. –John 8:44–That has been true since the onset of the rebellion in heaven and its extension to the earth. I pointed to that much even in the post, citing to Luke 4:5-8. Yet, unfortunately, I went further yet–I sought to incite, to give Barack Obama a back door out of the mess surrounding Tom Daschle’s appointment, that “if” Mr. Obama wanted to be a man of integrity all he had to do was call Tom Daschle and tell him he was leaving too much globbular, gelatinous goo behind on doorknobs, that he could not have the appointment after all. The implicit purpose–perhaps it is better to call it the “illicit purpose”–was to suggest that another person would be the person for Health and Human Services, one who would be truly sensitive to the needs of the poorest in our midst, including the disabled in America. And  there, despite all valuable intentions, I went far and away too far indeed, thinking Barack Obama would remain loyal to his crony and would do that despite the public outrage about it, even perhaps lapsing to the age-old tactic of twisting that into the claim of being courageous, standing by what you believe is right no matter what.

So … I make public apology to Jehovah for my disloyalty, I repent of it, and I will not need to be reminded of it ever again. I am to remain neutral of this world’s political elements. Neutral is not the same as having a comment to offer about its inner workings.

There is only one person in all the universe qualified to govern the entire world of mankind for the next 1,000 years plus the time remaining between now and the onset of Armageddon–that person is “the” Anointed One (Christ, Messiah)–among other Names, he is Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. The Great and Magnificent Lion of the Tribe of Judah. May his glorious Name also be forever blessed along with Jehovah’s forever. And I long for the Day his rule extends throughout all Jehovah’s creation, for then and only then will all remaining see true peace and prosperity.

I do realize, greatefully, that by means of Jesus Christ Jehovah He will have to speak out on behalf of the poor and among them nobody is more poor than are the disabled worldwide. They remain in last place worldwide and they shall forever remain in last place until the glorious Messiah’s footstool becomes glorious as well. We await the Great Reversal that has long been promised, where such things will no longer be so.

(Luke 13:30) “. . .And, look! there are those last who will be first, and there are those first who will be last.”

(Jeremiah 31:7-9) ^“For this is what Jehovah has said: “CRY out loudly to Jacob with rejoicing, and CRY shrilly at the head of nations. PUBLISH [it]. GIVE praise and SAY, ‘Save, O Jehovah, your people, the remnant of Israel.’ Here I am bringing them from the land of the north, and I will collect them together from the remotest parts of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, the pregnant woman and the one giving birth, all together. As a great congregation they will return here. With weeping they will come, and with [their] entreaties for favor I shall bring them. I shall make them walk to torrent valleys of water, in a right way in which they will not be caused to stumble. For I have become to Israel a Father; and as for E´phra·im, he is my firstborn.”

 

 

Ah … I along with everyone else among the faithful flock belonging to Jehovah aand Jesus Christ must acknowledge that Satan controls this world’s media. All one can do in striving to offer anything on such matters is to transform his voice into that of a stranger. That is something nobody, if he understood it, would ever want to do! From the Representative of the Faithful Slave we understand rightly:

“The apostle Paul states: “Do not be carried away with various and strange teachings.” (Hebrews 13:9) What sort of teachings? Since they can ‘carry us away,’ it is clear that Paul refers to teachings that undermine our spiritual balance. Who are voicing such strange teachings? Paul told a group of Christian elders: “From among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves.” (Acts 20:30) Indeed, today as in Paul’s day, some individuals who were once part of the Christian congregation now attempt to mislead the sheep by speaking “twisted things”—half-truths and outright lies. As the apostle Peter puts it, they use “counterfeit words”—words that resemble truth but that are actually as worthless as counterfeit money.—2 Peter 2:3.”

There is so much I would want to say to those who serve as what has become the governments of this world, in order that they might realize what they were truly doing, what it all means. But what I have to say is nothing except what has already been said and by those authorized to say it on behalf of the whole body. To that, from this day forward, I shall have nothing to add.

And … so I repent of doing otherwise, irrespective of my intentions. Satan the Devil has an earthly seed. That “seed” was long ago foretold to come to an end. That “end” is already panting in its efforts to arrive from the Word decreeing it long ago. It will absolutely come to pass just exactly as Jehovah has declared it by means of His servants the prophets. As for me and my household: We shall serve Jehovah and we shall obey all the commandments of His Anointed King, even as we were taught. Foremost of those commandments is the requirement that we be no part of this world and quite simply stated it is necessary because, as the Messiah declared it plainly long ago–

(John 18:36) . . .”My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”

The world does not know what to do with that simply because the world lacks faith and it lacks patience. If you ask the stable of wicked religious harlots striving for status with the new president, they will–in various ways but all similar–all tell you a convoluted tale about how God is behind any kingdom which does advance and support certain things. Some of them, for example, will tell you that God supports the kingdoms which properly oppose any public law or policy that is tolerant or supportive of homosexuality. Another might tell you that God supports kingdoms which oppose abortion. Another might tell you that God supports kingdoms which advance democracy and free-market capitalism. God, to hear it from these men in pimpish robes, is a partisan and they have Him all dialed in to the right political viewpoints and, thus, if you join them you have joined yourself to who and what God has approved. I want to puke!

I see glimpses of T.J. Jakes and Joel Osteen and the other megachurch dialing for dollars and their “church of prosperity” ilk surrounding the President and other governmental actors and I truly am become a Kikuyu, listening from the other side of the front porch, as Baroness Karen Blixen heard it from her faithful Farah–”these Kikuyu want to be sick now.”

… And now shall I presume that “I” would have advice for any earthly ruler? That “I” have anything at all of value to say about any appointment, to any office whatever?

Truly … I am ashamed of myself for having spoken in such a way as that. And that shall be the end of it. Forever. I have plenty to say about other things, even what I am commissioned to preach about, the twofold message of good news and of the day of vengeance on the part of my God. If I am to remain faithful let me return to those things.

Frenetic News Over A Still Spiraling World Economy: The Idolatry Of Fortune Seeking Is Abuzz Over Its Future

The news summary this morning, in terms of the economy, is right out of my posts over the last six months or more. I hate to say “I told you so” and now may not be a good time to say it. Gloating is not my aim or my point. I am actually trying to encourage and to build up. This is all very good news indeed.

In Hong Kong, as they usher in the Chinese New Year–a festival I myself have seen in San Francisco in years past–one can see photographs of people reaching out to a chap dressed as the idolatrous god of fortune, and you sit back and realize just how superstitious the human being can become, with a little coaxing and the wrong type of encouragement the list is as endless as it is unseemly. Most anyone, anywhere, if asked, would like to be wealthy. Reaching out for this is not what it seems, however, and even now, as the banks sway back and forth on the face of the  entire planet earth, they still do not “get it.”  Pay attention to a few simple realities below and gain a breathtaking panorama of what is coming at us like a runaway freight train.

Satan will try to stop it but he will not prove able to stop it and that thought is intended to tell you plainly that you better get yourself ready for the Great Tribulation and the sole and only possible means of escape–the glorious Right Hand of Jehovah God, by means of Jesus Christ. There is no other Deliverer or Savior for what is coming. As the Physician reminds us plainly by inspiration of God’s spirit:

(Acts 4:12)  “Furthermore, there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.”

The list of corporate failures will continue to mount like casualties of war. It will be like the body counts of the Viet Nam war, a daily tally of the incalculable loss of man’s inability to govern anyone rightly or well. (Ecclesiastes 8:9; Jeremiah 10:23-24; Daniel 2:44)

This morning, Caterpillar announced it would lay off 1 in every 10 workers. 10% of its workforce. Those who stayed on would have their salaries frozen. It is an amazing choice of words–frozen–because it arises right out of the prophets, a derivative of the term “congealed.” The entire global philosophy, brought on by the liar who is Satan the Devil and his earthly seed, of “unlimited economic growth” was the most significant earthly thought of the 20th Century. Everywhere, everyone in business and caught up by any aspect of the spirit of the world, believed in becoming richer and richer, or increasingly more comfortable, or an almost endless list of similar expressions that all posited the very same general philosophy. And it seemed to offer mankind what they wanted most, they were willing to work for that, to save for it, and even to borrow against the future for it. And so this giant machine was built and it was sent into motion and this Night Train of Darkness is now on its final ride because the track is about out of time and there is simply not going to be any more track for it to run on and this train will find itself–congealed. Then the fun really begins.

I am almost breathless with excitement at what this all likely means, and I am utterly chomping at the bit to not run ahead and forget to tell others what I see before I disappear over the wall. Nobody really knows me well and if they did and if they knew what my deepest hope was they would be utterly astounded at what Jehovah God does for those He claims from the midst of those the entire world throws away. I have no earthly good idea how to even begin to say what I am trying to say, for I am much like a young boy who seeing something momentous down the road rushes back to the village to try and explain what he intuitively grasps is enormous beyond words and yet then turns and tries to put words out to explain what can only be intuitively grasped if at all.

“The Chinese Lunar New Year began Monday, and projections for the Year of the Ox from astrologers, lawyers, bankers and fishmongers are anything but auspicious.

“The mood is confused and desperate,” said Kerby Kuek, a feng shui master and Chinese astrologer.”

The “mood” is another term for “spirit realm on the earth” and that it would be both ‘confused’–(2 Peter 2:4)–and ‘desperate’–(Revelation 12:12)–is something written right out of the scriptures and into the headlines of the day. It is just that the overwhelming vast majority of people truly do not understand the meaning of what they are reading. More … they will increasingly discover, if they seek the truth that truly sets them free, that the sole and only explanation for what is happening all around them originates in the Scriptures and that no other explanation, by anyone else, anywhere else, that points to God’s Word, is equal to that provided by the Faithful and Discreet Slave.

The entire Empire of Financial Intermediation is rocking back and forth, its skyscrapers in an earthquake, the likes of which the world has never seen before. Hear the latest buzz from the NY Times: “Nationalization Gets A New, Serious Look,” NY Times.com.

“Privately, most members of the Obama economic team concede that the rapid deterioration of the country’s biggest banks, notably Bank of America and Citigroup, is bound to require far larger investments of taxpayer money, atop the more than $300 billion of taxpayer money already poured into those two financial institutions and hundreds of others.”

The $300 Billion is an understatement as the second installment is being readied now and the banks are lining up for it like little pigs run after their mother pig’s teats. Insanity reigns in the skyscrapers as the likes of John Thain, the former CEO of Merrill Lynch used some $1.2 Million recently to decorate his lavish New York City office. And while people are getting very upset at reading about such things as his infamous $87,000.00 throw rug and $11,000.00 lamp shade, the real story is his paying $800,000.00 to hire famed interior designer Michael Smith to do the redesign. The insanity is so delicious because Barack and Michelle Obama just hired the same Michael Smith to redecorate the White House, for $100,000.00, plus whatever it is they need to buy. The “mood” is not only confused and desperate–it is “infectious” as well.

The Satanic leadership worldwide is always seeking for its own glory, its own advancement, its own aggrandizement. It knows nothing better because this is the mindset of demonic entitlement. It is so much like the spiritual “disease” that psychiatrists try to explain and fail to treat known as malignant narcissism. That is the very spirit of this world.

As the financial contagion continues its incurable viral work on a very, very sick world-economy patient, businesses are doing what everyone knew they would and have been afraid of, and here’s the latest reports of this growing epidemic, in addition to Caterpillar, mentioned above. “Major U.S. Companies To Slash Jobs,” WashingtonPost.com

“As companies begin announcing their financial results for the end of 2008, they are also moving fast to cut costs in response to poor results and a diminished outlook for the coming year.”

“The job cuts announced so far today include … 8,000 at the Sprint Nextel telecommunications company, 7,000 at Home Depot, and 8,000 anticipated from the pending merger of the Pfizer and Wyeth pharmaceutical companies.”

The news of losing jobs is now deemed to be so regular and routine the mass media harlot is developing news articles to make positive spin out of even all that, a good news come-what-may philosophy that arises out of making lemonade out of the lemons life gives. “Making It,” WashingtonPost.com:

“Tya Bolton used to manage outplacement services for laid-off people. Then she was downsized herself. And she says it’s the best thing that ever happened to her.”

The mass media allowed by the wild beast to continue will increasingly sound the propagandistic note for society.

We can simply decide to have a positive outlook, it is all of it purely a state of mind, and nobody needs to change, nobody needs to reject the failed American ‘Way of Life,’ it is still valid, it is just that you have to get more creative now, you have to somehow adjust, to become flexible. You have to overcome. This is not really adversity after all but merely a change in environment such that the flexible and the creative will still flourish, proving that there was nothing wrong with the American “Way of Life” after all.

Nonsense. And everyone is going to know that it is nonsense. Nobody will have to take my word for it, it will be so plain as day as to truly make everyone wonder aloud–what WAS I THINKING? The answer, of course, is whatever Satan wants them to think and the true fight left for anyone and everyone is to break free of that grip and to come into the light and there to stay. Time is fast running out.

From amidst the skyscrapers of the world’s collapsing economies and failed political institutions, from the failures of academia and science, from the failed philosophies that instead of producing bounty and happiness produce poverty and despair anyone desirous of knowing the truth can and will hear this plainly:

(Revelation 18:4-24)  “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. ⁵ For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind. ⁶ Render to her even as she herself rendered, and do to her twice as much, yes, twice the number of the things she did; in the cup in which she put a mixture put twice as much of the mixture for her. ⁷ To the extent that she glorified herself and lived in shameless luxury, to that extent give her torment and mourning. The Horrors Of Gaza: Musings On Steven Erlanger’s “Proportionality” & “Discrimination” Among The Jews

Steven Erlanger of the New York Times propounds a hypothetical  scenario as an ethical dilemma, naturally portraying an impossible situation which truncates any and all meaningful choice to choosing between the lesser of evils. Choosing “evil” is no choice at all but, rather, is a refusal to choose instead. Evil is ultimate unreality. It is the ultimate “cop out” from the truth and what is righteous. Mr. Erlanger’s construct goes as follows, from … “Weighing Crimes & Ethics In The Fog Of Urban Warfare,” NY Times.

“JERUSALEM — Your unit, on the edges of the northern Gaza town of Jabaliya, has taken mortar fire from the crowded refugee camp nearby. You prepare to return fire, and perhaps you notice — or perhaps you don’t, even though it’s on your map — that there is a United Nations school just there, full of displaced Gazans. You know that international law allows you to protect your soldiers and return fire, but also demands that you ensure that there is no excessive harm to civilians. Do you remember all that in the chaos?”

“You pick GPS-guided mortars, which are supposed to be accurate and of a specific explosive force, and fire back. In the end, you kill some Hamas fighters but also, the United Nations says, more than 40 civilians, some of them children.”

“Have you committed a war crime?”

We must, however, be reminded that, as Paul wrote by inspiration of Jehovah’s holy spirit, — “that those who adhere to faith are the ones who are sons of Abraham.” –Galatians 3:7-8–That merely “claiming” or “professing” to be among the sons of Abraham is plainly not enough.

“Neither because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children, but: “What will be called ‘your seed’ will be through Isaac.” That is, the children in the flesh are not really the children of God, but the children by the promise are counted as the seed.” –Romans 9:7-8

This, then, is our true dilemma, because both the Jews and the Palestinians profess to be the sons of Abraham and of God, yet where is this thing called faith inside the horrors of Gaza? One can plainly hear the roar of the glorious Lion of Judah who long ago admonished one party about this issue, saying: “If YOU are Abraham’s children, do the works of Abraham.” –John 8:39. And foremost of those “works” was the very same faith I arise to write about this afternoon, in context of the cruel and vicious bloodspilling by and between the purported sons of Abraham, before the newest pseudo-withdrawal is accomplished and yet another basket of war crimes glossed over by claims of necessity and justice.

  John 8:41 . . .They said to him: “We were not born from fornication; we have one Father, God.”

Israel the nation state and religion persists in professing that they remain in a special and privileged status with the Majestic and Most Holy Father, Jehovah of Armies is His Name. If that were true then it is necessary that they obey the commandments of the Melach a’Mashiach of Jehovah God–who is among other names known as Jesus. I will make that important case soon enough. For now, however, …let us recall that the Jews-of-the-flesh have long contended being in this intimate relationship with Jehovah, this despite the fact that the curtain between the holy and Most Holy compartments was ripped in two upon the crucifixion of Jesus and the miraculous Shekinah has not been seen throughout all of Israel at least since then.

The reasons why have everything to do with what is happening in Gaza and that why is not only instructive, it is breathtaking.

The only ethics that anyone can look to for a guide in all such matters are those found within the Ways of Jehovah. Israel ought not to be a stranger to those ways and yet she persists in her obnoxious wickedness, contrary to all such ways of the very same ‘Father’ they contend to be children of. During the next calendar year I will provide a detailed discussion of conduct by the purported sons of Abraham under the authority of the Greater Abraham–Jehovah God Himself. This ought to suffice irrespective of any self deceptions because the Jews themselves profess to be the children of Jehovah even though by superstition they no longer can bring themselves to declare His glorious and beautiful Name. The Jews by means of their representatives, the Pharisees, told the Messiah long ago that they were the sons of Abraham and that they were the children of Jehovah.

Jesus declared the important rejoinder for all to hear plainly; it split the cedars and it shattered the oaks to hear it and even now it reverberates throughout the world. Listen closely to the Son of the Greater David, my Greatest Hope, who said:

“If God were YOUR Father, YOU would love me, for from God I came forth and am here. Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth. Why is it YOU do not know what I am speaking? Because YOU cannot listen to my word. YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie].. . .” –John 8:42-44

The conduct of both sides in Gaza must be analyzed under the Law of Jehovah for in truth all other sources are ultimately a form of lawlessness, and all other sovereignty is both fleeting and sham.

When I first read what I call the Royal Law, after graduating from law school, I sat and wept at its beauty, at its wisdom, and at the feet of its Author, whom I more closely saw for the very first time in my entire life at that moment. The “personality” of the author of that Law is such that I ran headlong towards Him, breathlessly hoping that I would make it and not fall, and I am running still, as best I can, despite all opposition–from within and from without–because I love the Author of the Royal Law, the Savior of the Small and Helpless, the Provider of all those who are without, the Light for all those in darkness, the healer of all those who suffer, and more … the Protector of the widow and fatherless boy, and oh, my, from the depth of my soul I say these words, oh so very, very much more indeed is Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, my God and my Father, the Great One of Forever.

Those are my only credentials if I am to have any credentials. For if any one of those professing to be God’s sons are in truth God’s sons then they are as my brothers and I am speaking to members of my own family. If not, then I am speaking boldly to imposters!

I will provide an installment each week. And I will do this for a span of one year, making for 52 installments in all. And throughout the entire span of 52 weeks one will not be able to find anywhere in the Law of Jehovah, in his regulations or his judicial decisions or his statutes any such ethical construct that provides for “proportionality” or “discrimination,” of the type proposed by Steven Erlanger, except that there was not to be any “discrimination,” except that which divided everything and everyone away from what God enjoins and towards what God instructs, and no “proportionality,” except that cruelty was enjoined always, in every instance, irrespective of fault, and one had a duty to recognize God in all things because it is by means of His glorious right hand and His Word that all things exist.

The horrors of Gaza will continue until the Holy Father resolves this dispute by means of the execution of His Judgments by His Son, who now rules in the heavens and will soon rule everywhere else and over everyone else because everyone else opposed will, simply stated, no longer exist. The horrors of Gaza, under the light of Jehovah’s judicial decisions, can and will leave us with a clear result as between ALL PARTIES INVOLVED.

Fear & Not Knowing The Way Out: Officials Worldwide Act In The Increasingly Dense Darkness

In reading about the latest outbreak of “fierce” violence between whom I sometimes refer to as Israel and Ishmael–namely, the modern Jewish state of Israel and the so-called Palestinians–I am disgusted. Perhaps that identification of my contempt for the violence is both inept and imprecise but the other metaphors just do not seem to work well because I would resist the temptation to liken these parties to either cats or dogs and the like. They sure do fight with each other, however. The hatred is both historic and unquenchable. The lust for blood is insatiable on both sides. It will continue yet for a little while longer and then the issue of Universal Sovereignty will be settled decisively by Jehovah of Armies, the Holy One of New Israel. Both sides are destined to know the truth–they are both out~!

I bet that causes some eyes to roll and, in others, a skip of the heart by at least 20 beats per minute, if not more. Let it finish its own work. In the interim, in reading about this latest conflict something stands out more so than ever before. It has always seemed “futile,” to try and broker a peace accord between the relevant parties. I have long been convinced that absent the hate and the lust for wicked murder, on both sides, born out of hate, the relevant parties would truly not know what to do. Indeed, I believe a strong case can be made for the deployment of “agent provacateurs,” or “inciting agents” in French, by both sides upon the establishment of any state of peace. They each wish to utterly slay the other from off planet earth and neither side will care to end the dispute that began it all–jealousy and pride. It is the same everywhere, among all people on earth, because as the Revelation makes clear, Satan the Devil was cast down to the earth and the result is woe to the earth and those who reside upon it, for the Devil has been cast down and he knows his time is short.

I recall the words of the glorious Messiah who once confronted the established religious leaders of his day, saying in essence, if you say you are the sons of Abraham then do the works that Abraham did. None of them do that. Abraham would be disgusted at the whole lot of them, an entire civilzation built around a historic hatred, fanned on by religious zeal, corrupted by all evil.

My very good friend is primarily disgusted with the Jews and their cruelty and their most wicked oppression of the Palestianian people. He is right, of course, and Justice is coming on that score, together with every other score. Whether we have faith or not is soon to be largely irrelevent, because what happens is truth and what is going to happen has long ago been clearly and decisively foretold. The Jews are an amazing example of the lengths to which human pride and jealousy can arise. Their ability for even self deception is shocking to the conscience of all the faithful worldwide. Yet we must await Jehovah’s action by Christ Jesus. We want that more than anything because that and only that will stop the fighting everywhere, all at once, in one big showdown. It is fast arriving from on high and none of those fighting ont he ground are expecting what they have been taught to believe is mere metaphor, as literature and nothing more than that. Surprise! It is real. More real than anything else on planet earth because it is God’s Word. It always achieves that which it was sent forth to achieve. Always. No exceptions.

In the news of the modern mass media the wars in the Middle East occur not in a vaccuum but in a context that other stories help to define. I have made that point repeatedly here on this weblog. In Mexico, for example, we see a fear and efforts to deal with it, and primarily all efforts are predicated upon the growing War on Terror model of the most recent U.S. Administration. Notice this from NY Times, “In Mexico, Curbing Violence Before It Is Learned.”

“The bills face varying probabilities of success and are in some cases dismissed as irrelevant by security experts. But they show the concern, and even desperation, that many politicians feel toward the state of their crime-racked country.”

“The overhaul of Mexico’s judicial system — introducing quicker, oral trials instead of the current trials conducted solely by the exchange of legal documents, and making arrests of organized-crime suspects easier — is considered by experts to be among the most important legislative steps taken recently.”

“Substantive proposals are also under consideration to improve intelligence-sharing among law enforcement agencies and to overhaul the security forces to make them less corrupt.”

The general theme is the same, everywhere, all at once. Notice the reality–that entire governmental systems are widely seen as corrupt. Building in various “procedures,” ultimately to perhaps strive for the truth by means of the so-called “adversarial system,” while the most widely sought aftwer reform for the developing world for many, many years, is now seen as a waste of time. Let us do an oral trial. Here’s the charge. What do you say? Be quick, you have 5 Minutes only for thereafter you are to be tortured and raped and then murdered because we are fearful and because we know not what else to do with those we hate.  Bang! Here’s the Judgment. Drag him away. We have no more time to waste on any of this, on any of these. And the “these” will increasingly look like those the Nuremburg Courts handed out to the Camps, as this world slips farther and farther into the expediency of executive action and the “fog of war” scenarios that are ubuiquitous worldwide.

Pay close attention. This is so very important to all those who remain on their watch.

The world as we know it is sliding into the abyss and it cannot be stopped. The people, generally, are looking in vain to the earthly governments to deliver for them, to save them.

“JOHANNESBURG — Facing a determined challenge from a breakaway faction, the governing African National Congress presented a campaign manifesto on Saturday that advocates a greater government role in generating jobs and major new spending on education, health and antipoverty programs.”

In Ghana– (See: “Ghana’s Unlikely Democrat …,” NY Times.com)

“Africa’s vast stage has seen many complex players, but few match the contradictions of Mr. Rawlings, the ruthless military man who seized power at the age of 31 and then oversaw the summary executions of his rivals, only to later usher in a new era of prosperity and democracy.”

“Mr. Rawlings, 61, was an unlikely savior for a country that from its founding represented Africa’s brightest hopes, but that in its disappointment of those hopes became emblematic of a continent’s malaise.”

Everywhere they are looking for that “savior” to deliver the world from its various descriptions–including such blande falsities as malaise. It sounds like a spilled blob of mayonaise on the counter top, not any meaningful description of a nation’s condition.

Violence and unbridled wickedness is increasingly rampant worldwide. In Mexico, again, the reality is kidnappings are as rampant as murderous roving dogs, salivating evil pus of greed and demonic evil. Nobody can stop them because nobody knows how. They are too busy on their own greed and its expression in a world comprised almost entirely of greed and avarice and pride and vanity and jealousies and … and …it does not end. The entire listing at 2 Timothy 3:105 is rampant worldwide.

My last foray into Mexico was during my law school days in 1995 and that ended it for life, this side of Armageddon anyway.

In Asia the wars persist. The economies of the world continue to spiral out of control. In China … try this one out for size …as someone tries to stand int he way of unbridled greed run riot:

“A Shanghai woman who had traveled to Beijing to protest home evictions for real estate developments was detained and beaten by the authorities, a human rights group said Friday. The woman, Cao Yibao, was beaten so badly that she received multiple fractures to bones in her face, according to the group, China Human Rights Defenders. Ms. Cao and other members of a group from Shanghai, who were also protesting the loss of their homes, were detained in Beijing last month and handed over to Shanghai security personnel members, who beat her, the group said.”

Worldwide. You will increasingly notice that entire institutions are failing, everywhere, and all at once. This has happened before, yes. But not everywhere all at once and in the same general patterns. This is truly historic.

Let us recall the admonition that when we see these things beginning to occur, let us lift ourselves erect for our deliverance draws near. It is near, at the gates. The world will soon be ungovernable. Then it all winds up into that final fireball called the End.

May Jehovah glorify and sanctify His Most Holy Name. May His Messiah, Jesus, ride triumphant against all evil. Let us pray, “let your Kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” For that to happen it is a real government that must arrive worldwide, even with spiritual swords. It could not be more obvious what is coming. The only question I have is: Why isn’t the entire world press asking about it? The reason why is because they have been, as scriptures have made clear, given up to a diseased mental state, because they loved the lie and did not want the truth.

Blasphemous Series Entitled, “Divine Recruits”: Notes On Propaganda

In this photograph of the Rev. Chrispin Oneko, A Catholic Priest and pastor, with a young boy in a T-shirt and probably–not sure–a pair of red shorts, in Owensboro, Kentucky, where the current low temperatures are around 23-31 degrees, leads us to ask a few questions about propaganda. What are they trying to say so publicly via the New York Times–America can trust its little boys to a new wave of Catholic clerics? Are we saying that America’s little boys no longer fear the new Catholic clerics and neither should we? Are we hearing the NY Times say that Jehovah the Living and True God supports the Catholic Church?

Very few Catholic priests were sued or indicted for molesting little girls, almost invariably it was the closeted homosexual priest whose sexuality broke out into the menacing scourge of the century, so bantered about in the media and in the courts of several nations and continents, all at once, since about 1952 until now.

One thing for sure, the weather is such that we do not reasonably find little boys wearing shorts and t-shirts outside in Owensboro, Kentucky, in this the last week of December 2008, any more than we would expect to find any shepherds in the fields at night in December in Israel around 29 C.E. They–the little boys of Owensboro–wear coats and boots and act like other young people when it is actually fairly cold outside. So why the charade for public consumption of what amounts to a lie? And what shall we say about a newspaper series that flippantly but erroneously makes reference to “divine recruits”? This is a blasphemy without a doubt to any true Christian. It is both senseless and unnecessary and it is astoundingly inciting. 

I have an altogether different theory. It is, as is customary, largely of the inconceivable. 

If the subset of the whole world who reads the New York Times is propagandized with the view that Jehovah, the true God, recruits Catholic Priests from foreign countries into Roman Catholic parishes throughout the United States, what does it say about God? Ah … now we are getting somewhere nearer to the truth. This whole thing is about “slander” and for the uninitiated that is precisely what the very name “Devil” means. Any questions? Alright, let us dig in a bit and explore this latest segment side-by-side with my first in response to the series.

The second installment speaks primarily of Catholic Priest Chrispin Oneka, from Kenya. He seems to be a really nice man. Sincere in his faith and in his consecration by the Roman Ritual (Rituale Romanum) of Holy Orders. Technically, the ordination of the Catholic Priest is performed in conformity with the appropriate portion of Book 2 of the Rites. His bumper sticker on his Ford Taurus says it all. Everything reduced to that special “Hallmark” or “Precious Moments” sentimentality. 

If you read the series you feel as though you have read a PR piece for the rehabilitation of the whole Catholic clergy class. Seminarians are down considerably from prior years. Priests sometimes extend their various religious sorceries across very wide geographical areas. The Roman Catholic Church in the United states alone has reportedly paid out over $2 Billion, primarily in molest of boys claims, as of last year, with the latest claims coming out of the molestation ground zero of the Los Angeles Diocese of California. 

Yet how can we so quickly see what is blatantly a PR piece without the nexus of Covington, Kentucky. How close is Covington, to Owensboro, Ky? The two are separated by about nine (9) counties across the northern frontier boundary of the state (Kenton County vs. Daviess County) Why Covington? Yet why the distance? From “Current Scope of the Problem Within the Catholic Church,” B.A. Robinson, 12/2/2006 latest update:

“Covington, KY: In 2005, the diocese established a $120 million fund to compensate an unknown number of victims. The diocese has only 89,000 parishioners. So far, the diocese has revealed that 205 allegations have been received against 35 of its priests — nearly 10% of the total number of 354 priests who have worked in the diocese over the past 50 years. Sixteen of the priests have died; five have been defrocked; 14 have been permanently removed from ministry but remain priests. The maximum cost per parishioner could be as much as $1,300. Claimants will be divided into four groups, depending on the nature and severity of the abuse. Compensation for members would range from $5,000 to $450,000.”

“The exact number of abuse victims who will come forward in the future is unknown. The diocese is planning to collect $80 million from its insurance companies. The remaining $40 million will come from a combination of “investments and real estate.” Any unused amount in the fund will revert to the diocese. Stanley Chesley, lead attorney for the plaintiffs, wrote in a statement: “This is a very important and in many ways unprecedented result in an extremely difficult matter.” Bishop Roger Foys wrote in a  statement. “After personally meeting with more than 70 victims, I am painfully aware that no amount of money can compensate for the harm these victims suffered as innocent children. Nevertheless, I pray that this settlement will bring some measure of peace and healing to victims and their loved ones.”

Nine counties away, on a day nearing January, little boys rush in to mingle with a priest in chasuble and vestments for Mass in an entirely empty church, in shorts and a T-shirt?

You can touch me–see I am not to be feared–see, I am not afraid.

All better. Phew. Glad that one is over with. 

But why the interest by the New York Times, which so clearly panders to the Jewish state and to wealthy American Jewish interests? In the first instance, it is harmless to those interests. Look, the spirituality of the Owensboro propaganda piece is so “deep” that if you stepped in you would risk stubbing a dry toe. Notice this typically American brand of religious expression, from installment two of the series:

“At his last set of three weekend Masses, Father Oneko began his homily with a rambling African story about a hyena, a monkey and a tortoise. At the punch lines, no one in the first two Masses laughed. By the third, he had the timing down better and some chuckled. The story was about being grateful, and he spent the next 20 minutes thanking everyone he could think of by name. The homily lasted 35 minutes.”

People. Listen carefully and do not miss out on the truth underlying this thing. 

The apostle Paul counseled Timothy against this very practice long ago, writing pointedly about our times. (Romans 15:4)

(2 Timothy 4:3-5)  ”For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do [the] work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.” (Emphasis Added)

What is the evidence of not putting up with the healthful teaching? Did you read the NY Times quote and count the 35-20 and arrive at 15 minutes? People listen to this carefully–they do not even realize what they are saying:

“OAK GROVE, Ky. — The Rev. Chrispin Oneko, hanging up his vestments after leading one of his first Sunday Masses at his new American parish, was feeling content until he discovered several small notes left by his parishioners.”

“The notes, all anonymous, conveyed the same message: Father, please make your homilies shorter. One said that even five minutes was too long for a mother with children.”

Even five minutes is too long for a mother with children?

(Deuteronomy 6:4-9)  “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. And you must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your vital force. And these words that I am commanding you today must prove to be on your heart; and you must inculcate them in your son and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. And you must tie them as a sign upon your hand, and they must serve as a frontlet band between your eyes; and you must write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

That does not apply to me anymore? That was ancient Israel and no longer applies to us today? There is no link to this scripture and what Chrispin Oneka does, teaching false stories about a hyena, monkey, and tortoise? 

(Galatians 1:6-9)  ”I marvel that YOU are being so quickly removed from the One who called YOU with Christ’s undeserved kindness over to another sort of good news. But it is not another; only there are certain ones who are causing YOU trouble and wanting to pervert the good news about the Christ. However, even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to YOU as good news something beyond what we declared to YOU as good news, let him be accursed. As we have said above, I also now say again, Whoever it is that is declaring to YOU as good news something beyond what YOU accepted, let him be accursed.”

But you would not be popular in the parish if you taught the Good News of the Scriptures and the Law and the Prophets and the Wisdom Books–that which is complete, that has already arrived. 

(Galatians 1:10-12) ”Is it, in fact, men I am now trying to persuade or God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I would not be Christ’s slave. For I put YOU on notice, brothers, that the good news which was declared by me as good news is not something human; for neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught [it], except through revelation by Jesus Christ.”

A fifteen minute homily, which is primarily comprised of a false story about a hyena, monkey, and tortoise, followed by thanking everyone by name? We should be grateful? Nice bumper sticker slogan. Feel good in that purely American version of the Hallmark Moment? Now we get back to our lives as they were? Make it brief but make sure you tickle my ears with false stories so that scriptures might be fulfilled?  I have kids? Let’s cut to the Eucharist sorcery show and let us be on our way? Nobody is being fed with the real manna from heaven, the Word itself!

The fires are coming and whole parishes are being misled and as we witness this spectacle of ruination, we have the media linking it to the Holy One of Israel, whose Word says entirely something else entirely from what the media portrays to the sleeping masses.

Church of Rome & Its Eclectic Priesthood: “If They Mess Up, You Just Say: ‘See You’”

As I look at a photograph of Catholic priests putting on their vestments in a dressing room at a Kentucky retreat, and one wearing what appears to be blue K-Mart tennis shoes, and observe another photograph of a priest–presumably during the mass’s procession of the Word–lifting an oversize, idolatrous version of what is probably only the second best translation of the divine scriptures (See: Jason David BeDuhn, “Truth in Translation …”) I am wondering just exactly what these very confused men are dressing up to attend to. At the retreat of foreign priests, one had to be sent home because he found himself “romantically entangled with a female co-worker,” another had to be sent home because he could not stand the cold, another because he isolated himself in the rectory, another because he refused to learn how to drive a car, and another who was hostile not just to Catholics but Hispanic Catholic priests who were not from Peru. 

The Roman Church is striving to import priests from abroad because they cannot get enough of them from America to serve American parishes. I am not striving to be disingenuous simply to be obstreperous with such remarks as “very confused men.” According to “Serving Short-Handed U.S. Parishes, Fathers Without Borders,” NY Times, in addition to the foregoing examples:

“One priest admits he stood at an altar once and forgot exactly which church he was in.”

Aside from the idolatrous sorcery that is at the very heart of Roman Catholic liturgy, the story above describes the priest charged with recruiting priests from abroad. He is actively engaging in what the divine scriptures has in one version or another, for nearly two thousand years, taught and enjoined as the “practice of spiritism”–what is literally known as “druggery” in the Greek (Pharmakia). 

“So Father Venters, lean and leathery as the Marlboro man — a cigarette in one hand and a cellphone with a ring tone like a church bell in the other — …”

The scriptures are crystal clear about the filthy practice of smoking cigarette and other tobacco. (Galatians 5:19-20) “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they … practice of spiritism. . .” The consequences for unrepentant persistence of spiritistic practice and idolatry is also made clear in the scriptures: (Revelation 21:8)  ”But as for … those practicing spiritism and idolaters a…, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death.”

Yet the Church of Rome cannot seem to understand these basics and their relationship to serving alongside Jesus Christ as a purported priest of Jehovah. 

At least they have it established into a schematic of discipline–if they import priests and they rape children in the vestry, they can merely send them back to the country they came from. Phew! That makes things a whole lot easier than having to contact the authorities and pay out billions of dollars in lawsuit damages. 

I am actually scratching my head, wondering just exactly what these very, very confused men are dressing up for? Meanwhile, the recruiter–described as the Marlboro man–exhales demonic influence as he calls for foreign sorcerers for American Churches of Rome. You would think someone would have even a clue as to what the scriptures taught. If the man holding it up truly values it he would immediately resign his priesthood and join the true Christian Congregation. I hope they all do. Swiftly. Time is fast running out to do so.
